We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to fill the following opening of a Plant Manager:
Job Descriptions
- To build and manage an operations team / department.
- To set-up production floor, equipment purchases and handle government certifications.
- To manage and oversee the production, stocks/orders, and logistics of the company.
- Responsible for coordination and control of production processes to maintain yield.
- To oversee the quality of the production and products are delivered on time with minimal material loss.
- To ensure that the quality standards of the factory are adhered to at all times and all work conforms to statutory & safety requirements.
- To maintain, upkeep and handle cleanliness of the production and warehousing floorspace.
- To address areas of non-compliance and possible solutions to prevent future recurrence.
- To manage manpower planning and shift rotations where applicable.
- To update production & operations report for submission to management including progressive status updates on production KPI, performance, workplace safety, etc.
- To ensure that all SOPs for food quality and safety to fulfil local/international certification requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of customer complaint/s and offer quality assessments and possible solutions to prevent future recurrence.
- Maintain ongoing communication with different stakeholders to share on emerging new ingredients/equipment, packaging and technology.
- Ensure successful application/renewal of relevant certifications of the company (SFA, FSSC etc)
Requirements
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing plant.
- Experience in using Masuko Supermasscolloider Machine or similar equipment.
- Well-versed with factory automation and manufacturing technology.
- Familiar with manufacturing data to drive productivity improvements.
- Strong knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act.
- Ability to lead, guide and manage a small team with effective communication skills.
- Proactive, keen attitude, diligent, resourceful, and strong problem-solving skills.
