What You’ll Do:

As part of AcuTech’s Singapore team, you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management in Singapore and Asia. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects.

What’s Required:

  1. 8 to 15+ years’ experience in process safety, process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), or related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
  2. BS/MS in related engineering field (chemical, process safety or relevant discipline) or associated science degree.
  3. Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations.
  4. Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills with a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.

What’s Preferred:

  1. Ideal candidates will be “Seller Doers” with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business.
  2. Experience in performing process hazard analyses (PHA), specifically HAZOP studies and other risk assessments, or related studies, such as HAZID, What-If, FMEA, fault tree/event tree analysis, fire and explosion modeling, safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, or Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
  3. Experienced in facilitation and scribing PHA specifically HAZOP studies for different types of industries and/or processes.
  4. Experienced in (Singapore) Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Safety Case.
  5. Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider four years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  2. Experience in Business and IT technology strategy or IT operations transformation project delivery
  3. Well-defined management consulting experience, including Project Management and/or Business Analysis
  4. Strong understanding of business and market dynamics, financial practices and supportive technology advancements in cloud, computing, middleware
  5. Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  6. Proficient with industry standard program management tools and practices
  7. Additional solution-based experience in business or corporate IT, including one or more of the following: Business Economics; End user computing, IT Service Management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Broad understanding of the AWS, Azure, GCP products and their capabilities to facilitate Cloud service provider evaluation and selection for our clients
  2. Ability to develop a business case for cloud migration with a good understanding of financial / non-financial benefits and the required investments
  3. Experience of collaborating with cloud architects to conduct assessments, develop cloud migration strategies (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS) and a multi-year journey map covering cloud foundation, cloud migration and cloud operations
  4. Ability to design cloud operating model with a broad understanding of required cloud operations capabilities, processes, roles / responsibilities & organization structures
  5. Strong problem solving skills; ability to determine proper course or methodology without direction or supervision
  6. Solid Program/Project Management skills, including experience interviewing client executives to gather and document business requirements, process mapping, draft scoping statements, develop project, resource and costing plans, establish and run governance models, and stakeholder communications
  7. Experience participating as a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle, from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live
  8. Ability to produce clear, concise, relevant and accurate documentation based on captured requirements and information gathered from stakeholders/subject matter experts
  9. Strong presentation skills, extensive experience writing successful project proposals, experience planning and execution related projects, and demonstrated project management skills and experience
  10. Solid knowledge of process reengineering methodologies and process flowcharting
  11. Excellent time management and organizational skills; the ability to manage conflicting priorities and multi-task effectively; and communicate current status and tasks to management

Job Description

Responsibilities
  1. Perform as a subject matter expert for AML products (Actimize & NetReveal) and manage transformation programs to advise, shape, and provide solutions to business challenges presented by the client.
  2. Lead a team of consultants and business analysts for the end-to-end AML transformation program with minimal oversight.
  3. Collaborate with Business units, Operation Units, and Technology partners to ensure end-to-end system and process delivery.
  4. Work closely with the GRC Practice lead, developing compliance offerings and supporting the go-to-market plan.
  5. Maintain an excellent understanding of the Actimize product, especially in the SAM module/Transaction Monitoring.
Qualifications
  1. 10+ years of experience as a business analyst/Project Manager delivering AML solutions using Actimize.
  2. Good understanding of other AML product suites such as Deitica/NetReveal.
  3. Good understanding of peripheral systems interacting with AML solutions.
  4. Good to have: understanding of other risk & compliance products such as Murex/Axiom.
  5. Good understanding of risk areas other than AML such as credit risk/market risk.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
  7. Excellent communication skills.
