Reporting to VP, Sales WW Service Provider, the primary focus stands on developing and performing strategic engagement plans for the Tier 1 and Tier 2 region's service providers.

The Channel Sales Manager – Broadband is responsible for driving and managing Broadband business through distribution partners, channel partners, and solution partners in the Indochina region. This role involves developing and executing the Indochina channel strategy to achieve Broadband revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration. The Channel Sales Manager is directly responsible for the development, optimization, and ongoing support and evolution of channel programs that align with CommScope's business objectives in Indochina.

The successful candidate will possess a high level of knowledge and understanding of Broadband infrastructure markets and channels, including how customers buy and engage with ecosystem partners. They must also demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment to develop, execute, and manage regional channel programs. This role has a strong focus on optical fiber solutions for Broadband.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Channel Development:  Identify and deliver strategic Broadband channel initiatives to differentiate CommScope and drive incremental revenue through distributors, channel partners, and solution partners.
  • Sales and Forecasting:  Drive sales goals and ensure accurate sales forecasts for CommScope distributors and channel partners in Indochina
  • In-Country Planning:  Develop prioritized in-country plans, including identifying and targeting distribution and solution partners for Broadband
  • Business Planning:  Establish business plans with partners, including setting quarterly and annual revenue performance targets and implementing review processes.

  • Marketing Collaboration:  Collaborate with the marketing team to define and implement marketing programs that drive market penetration, raise market awareness, and promote CommScope Broadband solutions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work cross-functionally with sales, product line management (PLM), and other relevant teams to create, optimize, and manage programs that define and document the working relationship between CommScope and its Broadband channel partners.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of channel management experience in the IT industry.
  • Partner Ecosystem:  Proven ability to build and manage relationships with distribution partners, channel partners, and solution partners.
  • Strategic Thinking:  Ability to develop and execute effective channel strategies to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and adoption of CommScope's optical fiber solutions.

How you will do it:

4. Risk, Safety, and Compliance

  • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

  • Leading and managing a engineering team members. monitoring, mentoring, and guiding people through every task to ensure that working employees have the required resources and needs to complete their tasks effectively.

  • Responsible to deliver high quality technical solution and engineering deliverables aligned with project schedule to achieve revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate across functions (project delivery, sales, backend engineering teams, procurement, and product management) to ensure on time delivery and cost reduction.

  • Provide direction to engineering team for all engineering assigned to his/her group, including the planning, design, estimation, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain engineering integrity of all projects, ensures quality, technical, administrative, and financial requirements are met.

  • Monitors, assesses, records and reports status, issues, risks and activities in process to meet scheduled deployment and project objectives.

How you will do it:

  • Works with Global Complex Engineering Leaders to drive strategic initiates for Singapore to improve overall engineering efficiency.

  • Work with Project/ Branch Managers for engineering delivery plan and priorities.

  • Plans, implement and manage the activities of the engineering team responsible for the design and implementation.

  • Work with JCI sales team, customers, consultants, and architects to meet accurate design goals.

  • Creates and implements sound business plan to provide cost efficient services for targeted revenue growth and margin improvement.

  • Complements project delivery team by developing value added engineering designs to varied applications of systems.

  • Work with local suppliers and procurement team for technical clarifications of the 3rd party solutions/products.

  • Ensure consistency of field installation delivery through design plans and other documents as required.

  • Establish and maintain a high level of quality design functionality to customers for maximum retention.

  • Track KPI and take corrective actions for engineering team.

  • Support deployment of Global Engineering and Operations Management tools for the region.

  • Resource planning, hiring and competency development of the team to support business growth.

  • Work with Training Manager to ensure engineering team capabilities and certification levels to match local requirement.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree or similar

  • Proven track record of developing and leading teams

  • 5-10 years’ experience in engineering (Controls, CCTV, Access Controls etc.) and HVAC solution development.

  • Possess knowledge in PLC programming & Tridium Niagara software

  • Tridium Niagara certification is required for this role.

  • Background should include the ability to successfully manage multiple challenges, prioritize responsibilities and effectively lead matrix organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and disciplines.

  • Ability to budget and perform cost analysis.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate team members.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Windows applications, Microsoft Projects, and web-based tools for design and sizing.

  • Ability to create various MIS reports and presentations.

What you will do:

Acts as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete assigned projects. Delegates tasks to execute and fully complete assigned projects. Coordinates communication with customer during all phases of the project. Coordinates the work of subcontractors. 

How you will do it:

  • Define scope, budget and schedule for projects

  • Device project implementation methodology

  • Plan and oversee work schedule for the multiple small to medium scale project under responsibility, in coordination with supervisor.

  • Identify potential project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions

  • Establish effective communication with customer

  • Work closely with Sales team for tender bidding

  • Supervision of sub-contractors’ work at site.

  • Schedule purchase and deliveries of all materials for the project in a timely manner

  • Assign task to, and supervise Assistant Project Engineer, Technician, if any.

  • System applications, drafting, data base generation and commissioning

  • Follow-up on payment from customers and verify payment to our suppliers.

  • Train customer and provide first year maintenance warranty schedule visit.

  • Hand over project to customer and later to service team.

What we look for:

  • Degree with minimum 8 years relevant experience, (ITC) 8 years relevant experience or 8 years of relevant experience in Building Services, M&E or construction

  • Excel, Word and Project essential

  • 2 years of supervisory experience

  • Familiar with BMS or ELV is a must

  • Require interaction with clients, consultants and sub-contractors, etc.

Main responsibilities:

  • Investigating and resolving any issues or deviations related to batch release (including temperature excursion evaluation per product in case distribution channel face an unusual event)

  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Leading root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents and implementing preventive measures.

  • Collaborating with regulatory support officer to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

  • Participating in Quality Alert/Product alert meetings and ensuring that investigation and actions taken during those meetings allow the decision for disposition of lots

  • Point of contact within operational team for complaint investigation when needed on site (coordination of investigation report).

  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deviation investigation and progress monitoring process and effectiveness.

  • Overseeing review and approval of batch records and associated documentation.

    Ensuring all batch release activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Participating in internal and external audits and inspections.

In this context, we are looking for one Quality Control Specialist to participate in the setting up of the new QC laboratory for our new site based in Singapore.

Key Accountabilities

The mission described below, must be exercised in compliance with health, safety and environment of the site rules.

  • Support the set up and routine operations of the new QC laboratory based in Singapore:

  • Support the project execution phase through deliverables achievement and operations activities

  • Write and review key documents relating to QC (such as URS, plans, protocols, reports, SOPs, risk assessments)

  • Review and approve vendor supplied documents

  • Support the laboratory start-up activities, participate and/ or provide oversight to the C&Q and validation activities

  • Participate in method verification for bioburden and endotoxin tests or environmental monitoring related study.

  • Perform aseptic sample dispensing

  • Perform QC microbiological test for water, raw materials and product samples

  • Perform growth promotion test and microbial identification

  • Perform environmental monitoring and clean utilities sampling including WFI, clean steam and clean gases

  • Train newcomers for QC lab activities and testing

  • Participate and contribute to laboratory continuous improvement

  • Contribute to laboratory performance (eg, deviation/OOS rate, sample turnaround time)

  • Ensure the consistency of practices between EVF project ambition, QC Center of Excellence roadmap including new technology and Sanofi Guidelines and ensure the connection with the QC Sanofi network.

  • Contribute to reach the EVF quality manufacturing 4.0 ambition through a Quality plan.

  • Support the Team in case of Health Authorities communication.

  • Ensure Continuous Quality Improvement in the QC laboratories.

About You

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related life Sciences or Technology with about 3-7 years of experience in QC lab operations and testing.

  • Experience in microbiological method verification and microbial identification in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry preferred.

Key technical competencies and soft skills:

  • Manufacturing 4.0 mindset (such as Agile methodology)

  • Knowledge of regulations and standards of the pharmaceutical industry, Global Quality policies and Data Integrity Requirements.

  • Knowledge of the quality systems and associated technologies.

  • Good understanding of good laboratory practices, good documentation practice and data integrity requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal relationships to establish the partnerships necessary for the development of the Quality culture.

  • Discipline and assertiveness in the decision-making and execution in laboratory start-up activities.

  • Good communication skills to advocate QC positions with other functions, including during inspections.

  • Experienced in routine laboratory operations and continuous improvements.

  • Experienced in start-ups will be advantageous.

  • Keen to learn new technologies.

  • Fluent in English speaking and writing.
