The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Creating validation protocols and executing method validation/verification for raw material testing
• Supporting laboratory start-up activities and participating in equipment qualification processes
• Conducting quality control tests for raw material samples including compendial tests and identification tests
• Performing quality control sampling of incoming raw materials
• Developing/revising raw material specifications and other quality-related documents
• Supporting laboratory activities such as housekeeping and equipment maintenance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related life sciences or technology with at least 5-7 years of experience in quality control raw material testing
• Experience in method validation/verification in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Good understanding of good laboratory practices, good documentation practice and data integrity requirements
• Experienced in routine laboratory operations
• Experienced/participated in method transfer, method validation and method verification for raw material testing
• Experienced in start-ups will be ideal

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures.
• Proficiency in understanding technical drawings.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Measure and verify products to meet customer specifications.
• Program CNC lathe machines.
• Operate turn mill machines with automatic bar feeders for production.
• Monitor production progress and fine-tune machines to optimize component production.
• Reduce scrap and meet productivity targets.
• Perform environmental cleaning practices.

Job Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections using pin gauge, Vision Measurement (VMS) machine, measuring tape etc for dimension measurement, and product functional test such as tensile measurement in accordance with quality inspection standards
Maintain accurate quality records and retain sample collections in compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements
Promptly report any product abnormalities and initiate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) when quality issue are identified
Support supervisor in investigating customer complaints, quality issues, and implementing corrective actions
Maintain daily 5S housekeeping in the assigned area daily. Ensure safety regulations are being observed at the workplace
Assist the superior to complete other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
Preferably at least 1 year of QC work background, familiar with 7 QC tools
Blueprint reading capabilities, and ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers
