More about you:

• Working knowledge of ISO standards, SAP systems, and Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in interpreting optical and mechanical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Skilled in statistical tools for process capability analysis.
• Strong mathematical aptitude; comfortable working in both imperial and metric systems.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to multi-task effectively and manage priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Capable of effectively engaging with cross-functional departments and external vendors.

• Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) and ANOVA testing is advantageous.
• Experience with Spherical or Flatwork Optics is preferred.

The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

• Responsible for product quality monitoring as per the agreed specifications of ELR with the supplier.
• Attend the first production process of all new product launches and communicate promptly with the Chef/Operations Manager regarding any changes or improvements during production.
• Ensure ELR product specifications are available at each supplier site for reference and compliance.
• Conduct surprise inspections at supplier sites to verify the usage of agreed ingredients for ELR products.
• Assist the Chef in the NPD process.
• Create allergen charts, allergen guides, and Product Information Sheets (PIS).
• Obtain and track necessary documents from each supplier, such as Quality Attribute Sheets, Local Regulatory Approved Labels, and Microbiological Test Reports.
• Develop nutritional information for Pret A Manger / Hudsons or other ELRS Drinks & Food as required.
• Provide assistance in root cause analysis at supplier and ELRS store sites in case of internal non-conformity or customer complaints.
• Train and guide production staff at supplier sites to produce safe, compliant products according to ELR standards.
• Adhere to company policies, as well as local rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and QHSE Manager.
