Main Responsibilities:

·  Undertake routine tasks for systems in their own area of specialization (process, plant and/or C&Q activities)

·Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex system issues, minimizing downtime. Decide on advanced troubleshooting methods and issue resolution strategies. Communicate issues and resolutions to management, peers and engineering team

·Provide support to Manufacturing, Engineering and Capital Projects as required

·  Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality

·  Identify improvement opportunities for critical systems, advise on process improvement initiatives

·Participate and provide advice in deviation and root cause investigations

·Advise on system lifecycle changes, including upgrades, decommissioning, and revalidation requirements.

·Provide project feasibility evaluation and technical front-end studies input to support decision making process with site leadership team and central function

· Lead and support project sourcing and 3rd party contractor & supplier management to support capital project delivery.

·  Manage project execution work packages, inclusive of contract management

· Support T1 & T2 (Global Engineering) project integration to site routine, inclusive of technical/project support post qualification and handover to site.

·Participate in applicable COPs

·Adherence to all mandatory Sanofi and local & regulatory compliance standards and policies including construction safety GMRs, Planet Care standards, GMP, and FDA regulations/standards.

About You

Education

·  Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Pharmaceutical / Industrial & Systems)

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Project Management and Execution in biopharmaceuticals or API manufacturing

· Good knowledge in process engineering, automation and instrumentation

·  Experience in frontend feasibility studies, project execution

·  PMP certification will be an advantage

·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues. 

·  Strong stakeholder & people management skills; ability to efficiently work and deliver high performance in cross-functional matrix organization

Successful Candidates For This Position Will Have
  • Must have: Passionate about semiconductor technology and innovation; adept at data analysis, problem-solving, and process integration optimization; excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred skills/experiences: Proficiency in scripting/programming/engineering/BI/Analytics software (e.g., Python, SolidWorks, Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry in Process Integration and Yield Enhancement.

The Materials Program Manager will work with various functions and departments to drive material flow and ensure visibility of current & future material issues. It will be the core member to supporting materials strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Burst demand request by customers – assess entire BOM materials lead-times, chronic suppliers, customer managed allocations , etc., then present from materials perspective how to support burst demand plan to support operations
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Program managers for localization or regionalization of OEM & BTP parts
  • Work with SCM on long term supply chain mitigation plan via localization or alternate sourcing to ease the supply chain for the Program/Tool.
  • Leads internal tiger team that may include different functions and departments to drive supplier long-term issues and improve supplier performance.
  • Provides inputs to engineering and SCM in supplier selection and assessment.
  • Analyze system need dates, supplier commitments and current production status to identify critical material issues
  • Lead clear to build (CTB) for pre-production build phases driving Global Shared Service team (GSS) with the directions and action plans.
  • Report respective programs CTB updates in Regional meeting.
  • Propose optimized supply planning to ensure on-time build schedule. Drive closure of materials issues
  • Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives & proactively manage mitigation plans
  • Track KPI’s and generate Reports, Metrics & Presentations
  • Support customer report (Materials Health Report, Customer OOR, Executive Reports) and Ad-hoc requirements.
  • Consistently work on Demand & Supply to proactively identify gaps and work with planner buyers and Strategic procurement to eliminate the gaps

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Process teams to improve overall performance.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex technical issues in an easy to convey format. Must be comfortable presenting issues and solutions to cross functional audiences.
  • Provide innovative, real time, quick response, and solutions to operational issues to help maintain manufacturing requirements while maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership in process improvement.
Required Skills/Experience
  • BS degree required, ideally in Electrical or Chemical engineering or similar science-based degree. MS preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a device or process engineering capacity or other similar technical experience preferred.
  • Experience in copper metallization technologies preferred.
  • Strong background in DOE and SPC. Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • Experience in Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, JMP, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully plan, execute, analyze, and deliver projects per schedule.

The Process Engineer will provide technical supply support on the commercialization and manufacture of all drug products support to enhance site performance metrics and contribute to the global company technical network.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

The critical responsibilities include the following but is not limited to:

  • Provides technical guidance in support of site projects and responsible to transfer the knowledge of the project and facility to integrated process team colleagues.
  • Provides technical support to product, equipment and manufacturing and cleaning processes in response to deviations, product complaints and adverse events to identify point of occurrence, root cause and corrective preventative actions.
  • Supports routine supply manufacture by providing on going technical support to the operations function, participates in tier meeting processes and implement opportunities for improvement utilizing company production systems tools.
  • Proactively monitors the performance of process parameters, critical quality attributes, equipment, modules and unit operations performance during manufacturing and cleaning.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.



WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in a technical field including Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Minimum 2 years of technical experience in oil and gas or semiconductor industries preferred
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as fishbone analysis, 5 WHY, logic fault tree and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of data analysis and familiarity with use of statistical software such as Minitab is preferred
  • Good verbal communication skill and technical writing skill
  • Attention to detail


This is a career conversion programme under Workforce Singapore (WSG) and candidates must meet the following criteria and are open to the following conditions:

  • Singaporeans/Singapore PRs only
  • PMETs or Mid-Careerist with no prior work experience in biopharma industry are welcomed to apply
  • Open to two years contract
