The internship will give you a first-hand experience of what goes on behind a luxury Public Relations and Events agency. In your day to day, you will

Your Role | Filmmaker

As a Filmmaker at Wherefore, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how stories are told and how impact is created through film. You are not just here to shoot and edit. You are here to lead, guide, and build the film arm of Wherefore.

Job Scope and Requirements
  • Take creative concepts and translate them into compelling films.
  • Shoot and edit projects end-to-end (corporate videos, events, social-first content).
  • Develop production workflows including storyboards, shot lists, schedules, crews, and budgets.
  • Grow with us from being hands-on with shoots to leading productions and mentoring others.
  • Collaborate with design and strategy teams to ensure storytelling is aligned with the bigger idea.
  • Manage freelance crew and oversee post-production pipelines.
Responsibilities
  • Turn briefs into stories that resonate and inspire.
  • Lead shoots and editing with excellence (DaVinci Resolve strongly preferred).
  • Ensure films meet the highest standard of craft and impact.
  • Be the bridge between Wherefore and partner production houses for larger projects.
  • Contribute to shaping Wherefore's overall creative culture through your ideas and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Corporate Communications team in managing the corporate communications functions, including preparation, writing, editing and proofreading, of Annual Report and Sustainability Report, and other materials;
  • Organise and support the team with regard to investors/shareholders/media meetings and briefings, including General Meetings (AGM, EGM), quarterly results announcement briefing, and other ad-hoc conferences, roadshows and meetings;
  • Provide support for sustainability reporting matters, including data tracking and stakeholder engagement initiatives;
  • Reporting progress to the seniors and heads of the corporate comms team;
  • Provide support to maintain corporate website and social media account (LinkedIn, Youtube and etc.);
  • Provide support for Internal Communications tasks and activities, such as CSR initiatives and other internal events;
  • Assist in any other communications or investor relations related projects or tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Willing to commit to a 3 months internship;
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
  • Strong organisational skills for internal communications tasks;

  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables;
