The Opportunity

  • Lead the delivery of energy storage projects and tasks, focusing on the developmental, construction and operation and maintenance phases.
  • Provide technical guidance to juniors in the preparation of feasibility studies, design basis, specifications, and functional requirements for energy storage projects.
  • Manage and deliver technical due diligence projects related to transactions of energy storage assets.
  • Support team members in technical execution and problem-solving, fostering a culture of excellence.

Purpose and Scope

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Energy-from-Waste Plant, this role will act as Maintenance Head and be responsible for all plant maintenance activities, providing leadership and guidance in maintenance of the plant.

  17. Stay updated on changes to environmental laws and industry best practices, ensuring the plant adheres to the latest compliance standards.
  18. Work with regulatory agencies to ensure proper documentation and compliance inspections are carried out on time.

  19. Budget and Cost Management

  20. Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.

  21. Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost-saving without compromising quality or safety.

  22. Training and Development

  23. Ensure that all maintenance personnel are adequately trained in the safe work activities, and the proper handling of energy-from-waste plant equipment.

  24. Foster a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the team is updated on new technologies, safe practices, and regulatory changes.

  25. Reporting and Documentation

  26. Generate reports on maintenance activities for senior management and regulatory bodies.

  27. Ensure the accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities.

  29. Collaboration with Other Departments

  30. Work closely with operations, technical services, HSSE and support functions to identify opportunities for process improvement.
