Role & Responsibilities

• Perform all dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, whitening and filling cavities

• Interact and educate patient on proper oral hygiene and dental care

• Support dental operations team to deliver clinical quality, patient experience and performance.

• Order diagnostic measures and evaluate results to determine patient’s oral health

• Develop treatment plans for patients to deal with any dental health issues

• Administer or prescribe medications

• Maintain documentation of dental protocols, policies and procedures related to providing safe and effective dental services.

• Maintain current knowledge of clinical and operational best practices with compliance to local requirements for dental care.

• Oversee the dental operations budget.

• Active and valid registration with the Singapore Dental Council

• Bachelor of dental surgery or recognized dental degree or a relevant postgraduate qualification

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in dental clinic practices is preferred

• Good interpersonal skills

• Operate CAD / CAM equipment such as milling machines.
• Read, interpret and handle Doctor’s prescription forms.
• Upload files for fabrication.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met.
• Maintain CAD/CAM machine performance by establishing operating procedures.
• Evaluate current procedures, practices, and develop and implement best practices for CAD/CAM operations.
• Arrange for equipment servicing and repair.
• Share responsibility for the cleanliness and maintenance of the laboratory.

• Support and perform any other tasks as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
• Work within a legal and regulatory framework within the laboratory.
• Comply with workplace safety and health policies and procedures.
• Inform the person in charge whenever there are any discrepancies.
• Conduct quality checks for all jobs performed.

Job Requirements

1. A basic dental degree from Singapore e.g. BDS, or dental degree recognised by the Singapore Dental Council
2. At least 4 years of post-graduate experience
3. Desire to expand knowledge from both a clinical and administrative perspective, including management and leadership skills
4. Possess good interpersonal and people management skills
5. Any other responsibilities assigned by Dental Head or Director of Dental Services
