Responsibilities
  • Support vendor onboarding, including vendor creation, vendor due diligence (VDD) review, documentation, and regular compliance checks to ensure readiness for internal audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Assist with daily procurement operations across indirect categories (e.g., technology, professional services, marketing, HR, legal, etc.), ensuring adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage the vendor lifecycle, including RFP/RFQ processes, vendor selection, assessment, and ongoing performance reviews.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors based on product and market information, covering price, quantity, delivery plans, SLAs, and guide the contract signing and follow-up processes.
  • Assist in knowledge sharing and training initiatives to strengthen procurement awareness and compliance across the organization.
  • Contribute to process optimization efforts to improve efficiency, transparency, and compliance in procurement operations.
  • Support data analysis, invoice validation, process initiation, and procurement documentation tracking to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively engage vendors and internal stakeholders across regions.
  • Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in indirect procurement; additional exposure to Compliance, Marketing, Technology, or Professional Services is a plus.
  • Drive procurement efficiency by understanding contract terms, maintaining a strong focus on process and cost, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution, compliance, and timely issue resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process and Vendor Assessment procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, demonstrating strong communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  2. Develops sourcing strategy for each new RFQ and/or NPI to achieve best cost and lead time without sacrificing quality and also ensure supply chain flexibility.
  3. Conduct supplier risk assessments and ensure mitigation plans are in place for critical components.
  4. Oversee the issuance of First Article (FA) Purchase Orders and track supplier performance.
  5. Works closely with Category manager to ensure sourcing strategy is aligned with Category Strategy.
  6. Accountable for meeting project cost and LT target. In-charge of NPI material management to ensure New Product meets On Time Delivery.
  7. Timely completion of assigned RFQ for sourcing.
  8. Maintains RFQ Master files to ensure traceability of supplier’s quotations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Able to interpret engineering drawings. Sourcing Strategy. Sourcing. Supplier Audit. SWOT Analysis, Capability Mapping, NDA. Good analytical skills, First article, Price and Lead time negotiation.
  2. Data driven, good problem-solving skills, good inter-personal skills.
  3. NPI material management. Good communication skills, Supplier management, cross-function management.
  4. Understanding of cost breakdowns, total cost of ownership (TCO), and cost-saving strategies.
  5. Awareness of industry-specific regulations, trade laws, and ethical sourcing policies.

Requirements:

  1. Degree or Diploma in Business, Logistic, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering, with experience in New Project Material Management.
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in sourcing built to print parts like machining, sheet metal, PCBA, cable assembly in manufacturing set-up preferably Semicon.
  3. Experience in project-based procurement, new product introduction (NPI), or production transfer projects is often preferred.
  4. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
