Curriculum Evaluation & Improvement – Assess overall curriculum impact, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to maintain high-quality educational standards.
Cross functional collaboration - Work hand-in-hand with the operations, training, and marketing teams to ensure a coherent and impactful student learning journey across all centres.
Requirements:
A degree or diploma , preferably in Education, Early Childhood, or a related field.
Proven experience in curriculum writing, instructional design, or educational programme development.

The Lab Technician is primarily responsible for providing clerical and technical support to the Science department they are assigned to. It is expected that the Lab Technician will attempt to assure that all science teachers’ needs are met equitably, and that the workload of the technician is balanced and reasonable. It should be further understood that although the list of responsibilities is multiple and varied, unexpected emergencies or circumstances may arise that require the technician to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. It is also expected that the Lab Technician will assist other lab technicians as needed.
Supply Management and Planning
- Inventories and maintains current laboratory supplies, while participating in inventory forecasting and long-term lab planning in collaboration with teachers and department leadership.
- Assists with purchasing, acquiring, and delivering supplies from local and overseas sources, while continually updating the science coordinator on budget expenditures.
- Vertically coordinates grade level supplies being ordered from local and overseas sources by preparing purchase orders and following up with deliveries.
- Handles specimens, including pig organs, raw squid, fish etc., as part of regular life science programme requirements
- Set-up and breakdown of division Science Labs that involve technological integration, mixing chemicals, and biological specimen preparation.
- Works with technology applications (both hardware and software) for science labs, demonstrations, and presentations, with facility in Google Apps and allied divisional technology platforms, while staying current on emerging technologies related to job responsibilities. Reports and coordinates with maintenance personnel regarding any malfunctions in equipment and facilities in any of the science laboratories.
- Follows best practices around chemical, specimen, and lab equipment hygiene, safety, and storage.
- Assists in labs that deal with hazardous lab materials including hazardous materials disposal.
- Assists in safety related incidents that may occur.
- Promotes environmental sustainability in lab practices.
- Maintains comprehensive digital and physical record-keeping for experiments, lab results, and safety incidents.
- Takes initiative to note and remedy safety concerns as they arise.
- Assists science teachers in labs that have complicated procedures.
- Supports all levels of science programming at the high school.
- Assists in orienting new science teachers to lab facilities and protocols in concert with PLCs and department leadership.
- Supports student-led research projects and independent studies in concert with instructional staff.
- Collaborates with other departments as needed for cross-curricular lab elements.

In a bid to stay relevant to the needs of the community, Care Corner has continuously strived to offer new and innovative programmes to support those in need and the less privileged.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Care Corner Learning and Special Needs Support is looking to expand our focus from just educational therapy to providing wholistic support for children with learning and special needs. We are seeking a Specialist with a passion to support children with learning and special needs. This individual would ideally have experience teaching children individually or in small group sizes, open to working from different locations and keen to teach children in our own Intervention Programme.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan and teach English and Math to children (age 5 to 12) with learning difficulties/disabilities.
- Plan and conduct individual and group intervention programmes/activities for children with special needs.
- Assess the developmental needs of children, doing up each child’s Individual Educational Programme (IEP) and Progress Report (PR) to address the needs of the children in the assigned classes.
- Engage parents in executing intervention and development strategies for the children.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education, Learning Disorders Management or any other related fields.
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) will be preferred.
- Experience in specialised intervention methods with children will be an added advantage (e.g. OG, Jolly Phonics, visual processing training, rhythmic movement training).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Entry level candidates and candidates without the relevant experience are welcome to apply if you have a passion to work with children with special needs.
There are two levels - Specialist and Senior Specialist, relevant experience will be aligned to right role level.
Location: Primary Location for Specialist is Tampines. For Senior Specialist, the primary work location is flexible based on the Specialist's preference across Woodlands, Tampines or Toa Payoh. However, there will be a need to visit different centers as per role requirements as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood/ Pre-School Teaching/ Early Years/ Special Education, Learning Disorders Management or any other related fields.
- Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) will be preferred.
- Experience having taught subjects such as English and Maths to Primary level students will be preferred or teaching Phonics to younger children may be considered with an Allied education background to cater to the classroom requirement.
