This is a senior leadership role, ideal for an experienced veterinary nurse with a passion for team development, operational efficiency, and high-quality patient care.
Role Overview
The Nurse Manager will lead the nursing teams across the hospital, with dual responsibilities for the Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) department and other clinical areas. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will ensure seamless hospital operations, implement standardized workflows, and maintain high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily hospital operations across all clinical departments, including audits, workflow optimization, and SOP implementation
• Oversee ECC staffing, scheduling, and performance, ensuring round-the-clock nurse availability and rapid response to emergencies
• Track clinical KPIs and implement data-driven improvements to patient care and operational efficiency
• Mentor, coach, and train nursing staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining a collaborative, inclusive work culture
• Manage workforce planning, scheduling, recruitment, disciplinary issues, and collaboration with universities for internships or externships
About You
• Degree or diploma in veterinary nursing or general nursing, with advanced certifications preferred (e.g., Cert III or Cert IV)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervisory or managerial roles in veterinary nursing or hospital operations
• Strong expertise in patient care, staff management, and clinical workflow optimization
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Knowledge of veterinary healthcare protocols, compliance, and hospital administration
