What you will be working on:
You will work closely with the Rail Operators to develop good ground knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) issues to ensure that the Rail Operators’ O&M experience can be fed back to LTA’s design Divisions to facilitate the continual improvement of the design of Singapore’s Rail Transit System’s (RTS) lines for flexibility of operations and maintainability.
Your scope of works will include review of the design of medium voltage power systems, railway traction power systems (3rd rail and overhead catenary systems), low voltage reticulation schemes and investigations of incidents.
