What you’ll do
You will be reporting directly to the Head of Sales, responsible for the overall success of the Toyota brand in the market in terms of sales performance and market share growth.
- Formulate business objectives and sales strategies (B2B and B2C), operational plansand budgets to achieve business targets in accordance with both Company’s, as well as our OEM partner’s strategic objectives.
- Strategize the go-to-market proposition and ensure achievement of the annual operation plan, both top-line and bottom-line targets. Achieving success against other strategic KPIs is required, such as Financing and Insurance penetration rate and Trade-in rate.
- Drive business outcomes through strong stakeholder management of both internal and external stakeholders through leadership and influencing skills.
- Engage our OEM partner and partner them towards achieving our sales performance and market share for the brand.
- Drive a positive customer experience to uphold our brand standard.
- Oversee the retail sites operations, ensure that sales showroom, processes, operations are maintained at optimal and compliant level.
- You will also be assigned functional related adhoc projects and duties from time to time, and you will collaborate with inter-depts to ensure targets / objectives are met
About you
- Proven track record of leadership and managerial skills while providing exceptional customer service is required.
- Minimum 8 years of Sales & People Management role
- Demonstrate ownership and unwavering commitment to achieving targets and delivering results.
- Possess leadership skills to lead, motivate and manage the sales team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Positive approach towards problem solving.

Scope
We are recruiting for a Dealer Development Manager in SEA.
The Dealer Development Manager is responsible for developing a business plan to achieve profitable growth for Sandvik’s indirect sales channels including developing the Sandvik distribution network within Sales Area South-East Asia, identifying dealers’ needs, ensuring a profitable market share increase with a focus on managing equipment across its full lifecycle, managing individual business opportunities and developing and managing distributors to more effectively support end customers.
This position will work closely with the Business Line Manager from each Division including developing the overall business strategy, execution plans per business line and distributor and business cases for investment needed to execute the strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Safety and Environment
- Demonstrate safety leadership at internal Sandvik company site locations as well as customer locations.
- Ensures that all reasonable steps are taken to provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment. This includes compliance with all safety management programs.
- Be a Safety Champion.
- Responsible for creating a fact-based sales plan through dealers, maximizing profitable growth for both Equipment and Aftermarket utilizing a strong business intelligence base.
- Work with the Business Line Managers to agree Go To Market strategy across each Territory and Application Area (Mining, Construction, Quarrying and Tunnelling) ensuring direct and/or indirect coverage of the entire SEA region.
- Understand the whole Sandvik portfolio (including Sandvik Finance Service) ensuring that cross-division business is part of every opportunity.
- Develop and enhance the overall relationship with dealers that leads to constructive and profitable business partnerships.
- Developing innovative sales strategies to increase sales within an assigned territory according to the Divisions’ Strategies.
- Identify gaps in the sales strategy and create solutions for markets where we have small penetration and build sustainability plans to retain sales in areas of significant penetration.
- Use of CRM tools and maximize its use for performing gap analysis and contracts control.
- Responsible for achievement of agreed targets for profitable growth and market share according to each Divisions’ Strategy including Surface Drills, Parts & Service, Rock Tools and potentially Mechanical Cutting and Ground Support.
- Ensures accounts are following Sandvik terms and conditions of sales.
- Manages and controls expenses (A&S) within budget.
- Routinely provide sales forecasts, budgets, and sales results
- Relentlessly drive rigor and discipline in the execution of dealers meeting pre-planning, post-meeting review and task assignment of resulting actions.

1. Aftersales Customer Service
