What the role is
You will formulate, review and implement patient financing and subvention policies within the acute care setting (i.e. public hospitals) to ensure affordability for patients, while maintaining sustainability of our healthcare system. - Designing and implementing new charging and subsidy policies to support value-based healthcare delivery, and also achieve significant efficiency gains.
- Designing and implementing Government subvention policies for public hospitals and national specialty centres.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end-to-end process from developing and reviewing policies, to designing the processes and ensuring smooth implementation of changes through system optimisation, to support the integrity of our financing schemes.
- Evaluating funding proposals from public healthcare institutions, to ensure that providers are right funded for service delivery.
