Your Job

As a Engineer, Die Design, your primary responsibility is to lead and participate in the design and development process from concept to delivery. You will provide the best value working design solutions for technical problems. Collaboration with Product Designers, Procurement, Buyers, Stamping, and vendors is essential to meet project launch objectives.

Our Team

You will be reporting to the Principal Engineer, Die Design. In this role, you will frequently engage with external vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth processes and achieve project goals.

What You Will Do

· Lead the design and development from concept to delivery, providing effective solutions to technical challenges.

· Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Designers and Procurement, to achieve project objectives.

· Formulate the scope of works and develop design philosophies based on product design.

· Provide ballpark quotes and schedules for MIE during project launches.

· Highlight product design issues during design reviews and FMEAs.

· Conduct tooling design reviews using design guidelines and FMEAs.

· Design and develop tooling to support new product launches, ramp-ups, and FA closures until mass production.

· Collaborate closely with Toolmakers on FOT and Die Qualification.

· Work with procurement for quotations and vendor selection.

· Attend design review and progress meetings, acting as the primary point of contact for vendors.

· Coordinate with external vendors for design reviews, schedules, specifications, FA closures, and other technical issues.

· Drive new technologies and methodologies to effectively reduce lead time, cost, and quality.

· Improve tooling for QN, QAP, and yield loss reductions.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

· NTC 2 or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in die debugging, fabrication, and building of progressive dies.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or NX.

What the role is:

You will review and plan Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering systems for the range of JTC’s portfolio of industrial properties. These include new and existing business parks, industrial estates and buildings. You will be involved in and shall manage enhancements, refurbishments and replacements projects of M&E systems such as Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV), Lift and Escalators, Fire Protection Systems, Electrical, ELV, etc. You will be performing design reviews of submissions by consultants and contractors with the Facilities Management team during the design and construction stages of R&R projects, providing input on operation needs and maintainability.

What you will be working on:

As an Engineer, you will work with building consultants for new buildings projects and retrofitting of existing JTC buildings and facilities. You will also liaise with external parties, including government agencies for matters relating to the industrial development to ensure compliance to the relevant Authorities’ requirements.You will seek to improve planning and operation of M&E systems to ensure ease of future maintenance and ground operations in JTC facilities. You will plan and conceptualise new and advanced engineering related technologies in areas related to energy and water conservation for implementation in our building facilities. You will conduct review of testing processes, procedures and performance measurements of JTC’s M&E systems to propose fine-tuning and improvements for cost and energy efficiency in operations. You will also contribute to drafting the technical specifications for calling of tenders of new and retrofitting projects.

What we are looking for:

Background in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent. No experience required but those with at least 2 years' experience as building consultants in design and construction supervision might have an advantage. You should be familiar with M&E systems, local codes and FM operational practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Engineer responsible for package procurement engineering.
• To understand and comply to the project and PO schedule with supplier.
• Review on topside engineering sub-contractor deliverables (MDS, Specification, TBE Report, POQR, TQ, inter-disciplines documents related to packages) with reference to project specification.
• Expedite the response from topside engineering subcontractor, clients, vendors and OEE cross disciplines.
• Monitor the progress of engineering subcontractor closely and ensure project target date is met.
• Participates in bids clarification meeting, kick off meeting, design reviews, technical safety studies workshop, model reviews for packages.
• To support procurement to resolve technical disputes and other discrepancies, where applicable.
• Review and comment on vendor submitted documents during detailed engineering.
• Provide technical support to installation, construction and commissioning team.
• Attend FAT and attend receiving inspections, when assigned.
• Resolve comments related to packages handled.

A TCB Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the TCB modules subsystem used in Thermo-Compression Bonding (TCB) equipment for advanced semiconductor packaging. This role is critical for ensuring precise, uniform, and rapid thermal control during Chip-to-Wafer or Chip-to-Substrate bonding, directly impacting process reliability, yield, and throughput.

Key Responsibilities

Must-have:

• Design & DevelopmentDesign innovative TCB modules assemblies for Chip-to-Wafer or Chip-to-Substrate bonding.
  Responsible for 3D design and 2D drawings, BOM management, FMEA, error budgeting, Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA).
  Planning, Scheduling and Costing of Machines Modules.
