Overview

Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition (2 years contract) at Scoot. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Senior Specialist/Assistant Manager to assist in finding and attracting talent. You will be on a constant look-out for suitable talent, continuously looking to build on an already great employment brand, and work to ensure a great experience for our candidates. You will need direct experience in recruitment and employment branding. You will work closely with department managers to quickly understand their hiring needs and translate those needs into actions that will attract suitable talent and fill positions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Part of Talent Acquisition Team and leading one of the streams and support for all categories employees (including Cabin Crew, Flight Crew and Corporate Staff) recruitment-related activities covering sourcing of candidates, shortlisting, assessments management, selection, contract offering to onboarding.
  • Review new sources and channels for all requirements.
  • Constantly engage candidates to provide a high-quality experience throughout the full recruitment process.
  • Manage onboarding process and work closely with HR Employee Experience team for all onboarding administrations.
  • Drive recruitment processes improvement and digitalisation to improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Lead in recruitment-related system implementations and enhancements.
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centres or other recruitment events.
  • Review and enhance/implement all Selection & Assessment Tools and Processes periodically.
  • Ensure Selection and Assessment Processes are carried out fairly and effectively.
  • Identify future talent needs and work with schools to develop recruiting programs for internships, scholarships and entry positions.
  • Track hiring performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Design & Implement Employer Branding Programmes
  • Work with the Employee Communication Team to drive company-wide Employer Branding Programmes that maximize the Employee Value Proposition and support targeted hiring campaigns.
  • Involve in designing new Employer Branding Initiatives (social media related, job portals, etc).
  • Execute Employer Branding Initiatives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Administer Applicant Tracking System, Candidate Relationship Management, and the company’s career website & social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Career Page, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Ensure the highest level of candidate experience at all touchpoints with applicants of all levels.
Requirements
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
  • Ability to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
  • Strong customer-centric attitude; strong follow-up and multi-tasking skills.
  • Resourceful, people-oriented, self-motivated, independent but works well in a team.
  • Creative, analytical and methodical in approach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in HR studies.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience with 1-2 years of Tech roles recruitment experience.

  • Use the right interviewing skills to match candidates’ profiles with business requirements
  • Ensure right referencing is completed before selecting the final candidate
  • Manage offers and ensure they are in line with business manpower budgets and internal total rewards policies

  • Coordinate regional-specific marketing assets and collaterals such as digital ads, brochures, videos and event kits
  • Ensure all student touchpoints are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with the bank’s values and diversity goals

Data & Insights

  • Maintain dashboards and reporting on key metrics such as campus engagement effectiveness, student conversion rates, diversity pipeline, school-specific performance metrics and event ROI. Use data to inform campus investment and engagement priorities
  • Conduct post-season debriefs and capture qualitative feedback from internal stakeholders and university partners to improve future engagement strategies
  • Stay current on campus recruitment trends, Gen Z engagement strategies, and evolving student expectations

Recruitment Support

  • Provide recruitment support for adhoc hiring programmes and during peak campus season
Skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in early talent, campus recruitment, employer branding or university relations within banking & financial services or professional services industries
  • Experience working in a regional or global environment with knowledge of diverse education markets
  • Proven experience in project and event management that demonstrates strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strategic thinking paired with a data-driven and outcomes-focused mindset
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting in front of large audiences
  • Proficient in tools such as CRM/ATS systems and social media marketing platforms
  • Passionate about Early Careers recruitment and possess a high standard of excellence
