- Conduct independent and impartial credit risk analysis of existing and potential borrowers for (amongst others) creditworthiness and repayment capability.
- Prepare and present annual and quarterly (if required) "Credit Review" to the Branch Senior Management for existing and potential new Japanese and non-Japanese customers within stipulated framework pursuant to Head Office and branch's policies and procedures ("P&P").
- Independently support credit rating ("CRR") application proposed by Credit Investment Department.
- Preparation of monthly report to Branch Senior Management (at Credit Committee Monthly meeting) tracking disclosure and receipt of financial statements, and completion of Credit Reviews and CRR reviews within timelines pursuant to Head Office and branch's P&P.
- Preparation of monthly self review checklist reporting department's work schedule to Branch Senior Management.
- Preparation of financial and non-financial covenants via respective quarterly and monthly report to Branch Senior Management together with detailed verification of individual covenants certificate provided by agent banks undertaken from time to time.
- Liaise with Head Office regarding credit control when necessary, which includes but is not limited to communications by e-mail or telephone.
- Organize Credit Committee Individual Proposal/Monthly meetings. Prepare and circulate minutes thereof and maintain originals together with related materials so presented.
- Conducting research and producing report on credit issues relevant to branch's credit portfolio.
- Assist, train and provide oversight for junior or new colleagues to facilitate smooth running of CC Department operations.
- Lead, undertake, assist and support CC Department's drive to shift away from mechanistic compliance to individual assumption for practices that promote a culture of accountability and good conduct.
- Support Head of Department in endeavors to achieve CC Department's targets.
- Undertake other tasks regarding credit control under the direction of Head of Department.

Job requirements:
- At least 15-20 years of credit analyst experience in banking with writing credit papers. Substantially in credit analysis of large corporations.
- At least 6 -8 yrs credit analysis experience in lending to companies with 3-4 yrs in corporate (large-size company) banking. But can consider 3-4 yrs in commercial (mid-size company) banking.
- Degree is required

Job Description
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer, Private Funds, overseeing all private funds financial reporting and operations of the SBU.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Group’s Private Funds covering real estate properties and alternative investments in Asia Pacific.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly variance analysis and commentary on financial performance.
- Oversee consolidation and closing of monthly accounts of fund, joint ventures, subsidiaries, and associates.
- Review the corporate month-end accounting process.
- Review management financial reports and investor reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Liaise with fund management and investment teams on financial advice, impact simulation, and tax due diligence for acquisitions and divestments.
- Oversee consolidated management accounts for Group and fund manager’s reporting.
- Manage treasury, cash flow, statutory financial statements, audits, tax, and GST filings.
- Participate in updating procedures, policies, and systems to support business expansion and compliance.
- Supervise and lead accounting staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of accounting experience.
- Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA.
- Strong technical background in consolidated and statutory reporting.
- Experience with private equity real estate funds, including fund accounting specifics.
- Highly organized, accurate, responsible, autonomous, and team-oriented.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software; familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller and SAP is a plus.
