+ Possess knowledge of environmental design, and green building rating tools (LEED, Green Mark, WELL, Smart Score, True Waste, LEAF, ILFI, etc.).
+ Conversant with environmental simulations such as energy modelling, daylight analysis, CFD, life cycle carbon analysis.

Job Purpose
The Group Sustainability Office oversees and drives ComfortDelGro's sustainability strategy and roadmap, aligned to our vision and embedded in the business strategy. We ensure that the sustainability strategy pillars and objectives are operationalised and implemented through actionable and measurable plans and initiatives by functions and Business Units across the Group.
To undertake sustainability reporting and participate in ESG rating exercises at Group level, and to assist in coordinating sustainability effort and projects across business units (BUs) in ComfortDelGro.
Key Accountabilities
· The Executive/ Senior Executive is accountable for formulating, monitoring, collating, and reporting Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) targets and performance across the Group and BUs, in close collaboration with BU Sustainability Leads.
· He/ she will support the preparation of the Group-level annual Sustainability Report as required by the Singapore Exchange and participate in ESG rating exercises conducted by agencies including S&P, MSCI, CDP, Sustainalytics, etc, to ensure objective external representation.
· In addition to reporting and compliance, the Executive/ Senior Executive will assist in coordinating Group-wide sustainability initiatives, identify and initiating prospective ESG projects, and facilitate the sharing of best practices across BUs.
· The Executive/Senior Executive is also responsible for supporting the Group Sustainability Office as its secretariat by preparing meeting minutes and scheduling appointments, coordinating closely with consultants to organise training workshops and facilitate learning journeys through visits to leading sustainability organisations(JJ1) (CN2) .
Job Responsibilities & Duties
· Develop and maintain a trustworthy, respectful working relationship with the Sustainability Leads of the BUs and Group Office
· Establish a high level of trust and credibility by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, consultants and collaterals
· Collaborate with stakeholders—including business units, Group Office, consultants, and the ESG platform provider—on the Annual Sustainability Reporting and ESG platform developments
· Formulate necessary plans and policies to shape and drive the sustainability agenda for the entire Group
· Strategic identification and implementation of key regional initiatives that will help our Businesses achieve Net Zero and Social Impact targets
· Work with BUs to develop and review sustainability targets across all ESG elements
· Collect, tracks, analyse and continuously monitoring of all environmental, social and governance data across the Group
· Harmonise reporting standards and targets across geographies to enable better understanding of performance
· Collate, monitor and disseminate sustainability performance to the working groups, management and board committee members for review and action
· Prepare meeting minutes to document sustainability discussions on performance and action plans across BUs during quarterly and monthly meetings
· Disseminate and share best practices and ideas across BUs on sustainable development
· Work with both Corporate Communications Office and Investor Relations Office to communicate to both internal and external audiences of our sustainability effort and focus
· Organise training/workshops to enable better appreciation of the need and value of sustainable development at different levels of leadership of the Group
· Coordinate sustainability effort and projects across BUs of the Group
Working Relationships
Internal Parties & Nature of Interactions:
· Internal: Business Units and Group Offices. To collaborate on sustainability initiatives through project management and sharing of best practices, and to collate and report on targets and performances on quarterly basis.
External Parties & Nature of Interactions:
· Consultants. To engage services to work on sustainability workshops, reporting and other ad hoc services including advice and audit.
· Partners. To identify opportunities and areas where ComfortDelGro or its BUs can collaborate with liked minded partners to further our sustainability effort and possibly grow innovative sustainable business enterprises.
· ESG Vendor. To enhance reporting capabilities through improved dashboard functionality.
Minimum Education/Qualifications
· Possesses good degree and / or exposure to sustainability development. A degree in a discipline like environmental studies, sustainability, or related fields are preferred but not necessary.
Minimum Years/Type of Experience
· At least 1-2 years of experience in a sustainability related role of a professional services consultancy, medium-sized enterprise or governmental ministry/statutory board.
Technical Competencies
· Possesses broad exposure to sustainability development with some deep knowledge in sustainability ESG domains, including strategies, systems and processes.
· Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRI, TCFD, ISSB, etc. and ESG rating exercises will be advantageous.
· Attendance of certified workshops will be preferred.
