We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Environmental Consultant (Environmental Control Officer) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Environmental Management & Monitoring Plan (EMMP) at various construction sites. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and fresh graduates interested in making a positive impact on the environment.

- Conduct daily and bi-weekly site inspections and audits to ensure strict adherence to Environmental Management and Monitoring Programme (EMMP) requirements at construction sites.
- Oversee and coordinate monthly environmental monitoring activities including fauna, flora, arboriculture, water and air quality, noise, and vibration measurements performed by contractors.
- Manage the implementation and operation of the Information Management System (IMS), monitoring real-time environmental data from ECM and noise meters to promptly identify and address non-compliance issues via dedicated apps.
- Collaborate closely with contractors, EMMP consultants, and specialists to ensure effective environmental compliance, serve as the primary company contact for EMMP matters, and prepare detailed monthly Environmental Performance Reports (EPR).
- Deliver regular biodiversity awareness training to construction personnel, develop method statements and risk assessments for monitoring activities, and support the EMMP team with project execution and other environmental sustainability initiatives.

In this position you will join our Singapore Environment and Planning business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of the environmental projects.

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure contractors adhere to EMMP requirements.
Perform bi-weekly audits of environmental compliance at construction sites.
Oversee the monthly monitoring of fauna, flora, arboriculture, water quality, air quality, noise, and vibration by the Contractors.
Manage the implementation of the Information Management System (IMS) and monitor real-time data from ECM and noise meters.
Utilise dedicated apps to flag non-compliance issues and monitor rectification by contractors within a defined timeframe.
Liaise and coordinate with contractors, EMMP Consultants, and specialists to ensure effective implementation of EMMP measures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the company regarding environmental compliance matters.
Compile and analyse environmental monitoring data from contractors to prepare monthly Environmental Performance Reports (EPR).
Conduct regular biodiversity awareness training for construction site personnel.
Develop comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for environmental monitoring activities.
Collaborate with EMMP team members to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
Support in other projects as needed.

- Develop sustainability and regenerative strategies and proposals at all scales and design stages of projects in the built environment
- Coordinate strategies and proposals for ESD, ESG and carbon assessments with in-house teams, project clients, other consultants and stakeholders

- Commitment to developing specialist skills in one or more disciplines
