The Group Sustainability Office oversees and drives ComfortDelGro's sustainability strategy and roadmap, aligned to our vision and embedded in the business strategy. We ensure that the sustainability strategy pillars and objectives are operationalised and implemented through actionable and measurable plans and initiatives by functions and Business Units across the Group.

To undertake sustainability reporting and participate in ESG rating exercises at Group level, and to assist in coordinating sustainability effort and projects across business units (BUs) in ComfortDelGro.

Key Accountabilities

·    The Executive/ Senior Executive is accountable for formulating, monitoring, collating, and reporting Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) targets and performance across the Group and BUs, in close collaboration with BU Sustainability Leads.

·    He/ she will support the preparation of the Group-level annual Sustainability Report as required by the Singapore Exchange and participate in ESG rating exercises conducted by agencies including S&P, MSCI, CDP, Sustainalytics, etc, to ensure objective external representation.

·    In addition to reporting and compliance, the Executive/ Senior Executive will assist in coordinating Group-wide sustainability initiatives, identify and initiating prospective ESG projects, and facilitate the sharing of best practices across BUs.

·    The Executive/Senior Executive is also responsible for supporting the Group Sustainability Office as its secretariat by preparing meeting minutes and scheduling appointments, coordinating closely with consultants to organise training workshops and facilitate learning journeys through visits to leading sustainability organisations(JJ1) (CN2) .

·    Work with BUs to develop and review sustainability targets across all ESG elements

Minimum Education/Qualifications

·    Possesses good degree and / or exposure to sustainability development. A degree in a discipline like environmental studies, sustainability, or related fields are preferred but not necessary.

Minimum Years/Type of Experience

·    At least 1-2 years of experience in a sustainability related role of a professional services consultancy, medium-sized enterprise or governmental ministry/statutory board.

Technical Competencies

·    Possesses broad exposure to sustainability development with some deep knowledge in sustainability ESG domains, including strategies, systems and processes.

·    Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks such as CDP, GRI, TCFD, ISSB, etc. and ESG rating exercises will be advantageous.

·    Attendance of certified workshops will be preferred.

·    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)

·    Knowledge of Power BI is preferred, particularly for ESG data visualization or other reporting use cases.

·    A professional who is able to manage, drive and thrive in a performance-oriented environment.

·    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to listen and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

·    Possesses good understanding of the nature of the business enterprise, the environment and the stakeholders' interests and motivations.

·    Strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making and impact reporting.

·    Proven experience in implementing and managing sustainability projects, track and monitor performance, and in organizing activities.

·    Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills

·    Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in processing large datasets to generate insights and actionable recommendations.

Job Description

The Sustainability Executive will be responsible for supporting the company's sustainability initiatives, including preparing the annual sustainability report, updating and maintaining sustainability-related data, and identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships with external stakeholders. The role will also involve engaging internal stakeholders to drive participation in sustainability events, managing these initiatives from planning to execution, and contributing towards the achievement of the company's sustainability goals.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and compilation of the company's annual sustainability report.
  • Collect, update, and maintain sustainability-related data for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for partnerships with relevant external stakeholders to advance sustainability objectives.
  • Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote participation in sustainability initiatives.
  • Plan, organise, and execute sustainability events and campaigns from end to end.
  • Monitor, track, and report progress towards achieving the company's sustainability goals.
  • Stay updated on relevant sustainability trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in sustainability reporting and ESG integration in business processes.
  • Experience in driving corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to enhance sustainable and ethical practices.
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards such as GRI, SASB and TCFD is preferred
  • Familiar with Singapore regulations such as Carbon Pricing Act and Energy Conservation Act as well as international standards such as ISO 14000 will be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in business management, environmental management, sustainable finance, or equivalent.
