Environmental Management and Monitoring Professional


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Management and Monitoring Professional to join our team. As an EMMP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including authorities and consultants, to ensure site activities meet regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will prepare technical reports and documentation based on monitoring data, as well as prepare EIA Reports for reclamation projects.

Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering;

  • Identify and develop policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, emergency response, and disaster planning.
  • Create, manage, and review environmental programs and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor legislative changes in environmental law across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, India, and Thailand; conduct applicability assessments.
  • Consult with stakeholders and government agencies on environmental and risk management issues.
  • Perform risk assessment reviews related to environmental and risk management.
  • Review and follow-up Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and provide environmental training in line with regulatory and company requirements.

  • Prepare mandatory regulatory reports and submit license and permit applications to agencies.
  • Assist in sustainability initiatives by participating in committees and projects.

  • Organize and support outreach and promotional activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing environmental and Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) programs.
  • Proficient in hazard assessment, data analysis, and root cause investigation.
  • Knowledge in environmental protection is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Assistant Manager, Land Management (Environmental Team)

You will be part of the team that develops and sets soil management policies in Singapore, as well as administering and managing environmental projects


What you will be working on:

  • Lead and manage the development and implementation of environmental projects, including soil and groundwater assessment and remediation projects, making a tangible impact on the environment and the community

  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of environmental quality standards for Singapore, ensuring that our land is safe for future generations

  • Review and implement land policies and frameworks, shaping the future of land management in Singapore

  • Develop and maintain a database of environmental quality data, providing critical information for land planning, maintenance, and regulation purposes

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and policies

  • Prepare tender documents and manage the procurement process for consultants and contractors, ensuring that we work with the best partners to achieve our goals

  • Manage project finances, including budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring that we make the most of our resources


What we are looking for:

  • Background in Environment Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent or other related quantitative discipline

  • Must be able to operate independently, but at the same time be a team player and effectively work with teams

  • Positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Experience in soil and groundwater assessment or/and remediation related work

  • Having project management experience will be an advantage in this role
