Position Overview
As a Business Strategy Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the growth and development of our strategy practice in Singapore. You will oversee the successful delivery of projects and cultivate strong client relationships both within Singapore and across the Southeast Asia region.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Drive lead generation through customer visits, industry events, seminars, networking, and whitepaper publishing
Conduct presales activities and develop proposals to secure project opportunities
Deliver compelling presentations to close contracts and win new business
Project Delivery:
Assemble and lead project teams in collaboration with ABeam Singapore, other SEA offices, and Japan HQ
Manage project teams to ensure quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) standards are met
Maintain and enhance client relationships, ensuring successful project outcomes
Provide hands-on consulting services, problem-solving, and delivering results
Apply ABeam Singapore’s methodologies for IT implementation projects and deliver solutions throughout the project lifecycle
Handle IT Strategy and Business Process Consulting projects, including IT Strategy & Planning, Business Process Optimization, and Large-Scale ERP Implementations
Team Building/ Talent Development:
Recruit and train strategy consultants in alignment with our business expansion plans
Mentor and coach team members in strategy consulting practices to enhance performance and development
Requirements:
Min. Degree in Business, Management or related field
Must have at least 7 years of experience in a strategy consulting firm or the strategy division of a major consulting company.
More than 3 years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically in delivering strategy consulting projects. Candidate with expertise in healthcare, manufacturing or retail industries will have a competitive advantage
Proven experience in Strategic Consulting with a focus on one or more of the following areas: Business Strategy, New Business Generation, Existing Business Transformation, Corporate Management and M&A
Knowledge in green transformation is a plus
Ability to build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners
Confidence in communicating and presenting at a business level to clients with a multinational background
Experience in IT planning and implementation projects, particularly in SAP projects, as a Project Manager, PMO, or Change Management Lead is an added advantage
Skilled in supervising, motivating, and engaging team members effectively
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated complex stakeholder management skills
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
Possess attributes such as creativity, sound judgment, curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, professional integrity, and initiative
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in English
