Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Director of Data Center Operations to lead data center teams in our APAC Regions. Our data centers are the foundation of the Oracle Cloud initiative which is rapidly growing. This role will oversee our expanding APAC presence including existing Data Center regions, Global Network Backbone and the establishment of new data center teams as we continue to expand our infrastructure. The successful candidate will partner closely with other regional leads, engineering and service teams to deliver and maintain mission critical IT hardware. The Senior Director of Data Center Operations will create industry leading strategy, hire leaders and run day-to-day operations, develop talent, and deliver the right processes and standards to enable Oracles Cloud growth. This position is full-time, based in Singapore.
Responsibilities- Build and lead a high performing, geographically dispersed team responsible for the installation, maintenance and operation of server hardware across multiple data center regions
- Mentor and develop managers while evolving staffing models to meet the requirements of a Global Cloud organization
- Develop and maintain a scalable operations model with a well-documented roadmap, goals, objectives and continuous improvement roadmaps
- Help create and drive the vision and strategy to take data center operations to the next level of industry leadership
- Work with centralized organizations to evaluate, implement and manage outsourced services
- Partner with hardware engineering, procurement, and program management teams to deliver infrastructure with industry-leading performance, quality, and reliability
