Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of engineering projects and ensuring timely submission of high-quality documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical/instrumentation engineering and at least 6-8 years of supervisory experience in valve automation and/or instrumentation. They should be conversant with international standards such as ISO 12490, API 6DX, IOGP S-707, and SHELL DEP.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical review on new project orders and assignments.
  • Ensuring timely submission of engineering documents.
  • Reviewing all project engineering documents before client submission.
  • Managing engineering change functions and updating documents accordingly.
  • Providing guidance and support to the Technical Engineer & Drafter team.
  • Checking and recommending common industrial engineering practices.
  • Implementing cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Providing sound engineering practices and calculations.
  • Reviewing international standards and project specifications.
  • Providing field support for customers.
  • Attending internal/external kick-off meetings.
  • Traveling with technicians to installation bases and sites.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma: In Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 6-8 years supervisory experience in Valve Automation and/or Instrumentation background.
  • Skills: Conversant with international standards, knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.

  • Project management experience of more than one year across a range of disciplines.
  • Proficient and well versed in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, etc.) and internet research skills.
  • Possess the required skills and knowledge such as good understanding of all paint systems and being able to visualize and suggest course of actions for maximum efficiency.
  • Ability to oversee construction/renovation related projects from conception to completion.
