About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Regional Supply Chain & Procurement Manager
to oversee procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in international logistics, manufacturing supply chains, customs clearance, and tariffs. This role is crucial in ensuring timely procurement, optimized inventory levels, and efficient supply chain performance to support our business needs.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities across multiple countries, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Develop and implement procurement policies, approval workflows, and standardized processes (vendor onboarding, supplier evaluation, performance monitoring) to ensure compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
Oversee inventory planning and stock control across all regional locations, ensuring accurate records and optimized levels to balance supply and demand.
Coordinate international and local logistics, including import/export procedures, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and cross-border supply optimization.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariff codes, trade documentation, and applicable local laws across all jurisdictions.
Work closely with manufacturing, operations, warehouse, finance, legal, and business units to align regional supply chain strategies with organizational goals.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance service levels, strengthen sustainability, and mitigate risks across the region.
Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., disruptions, tariff changes, sanctions) to ensure business continuity.
Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, implement corrective actions where needed, and act as the point of escalation for vendor-related issues.
Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records for reporting, forecasting, and audit purposes.
Build, lead, and mentor a procurement & supply chain team, fostering professional development, accountability, and a culture of excellence.
Serve as the central liaison with procurement personnel in different countries, ensuring alignment between local execution and regional/global procurement strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in regional supply chain, procurement, and inventory management, with proven expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations.
Solid knowledge of international logistics, customs clearance procedure, tariffs, and international trade compliance regulations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
