- In this role at ABB, you will play an essential part in supporting regional/global sourcing initiatives, whether working closely with a regional/global Category Manager or independently within defined thresholds. Your responsibilities will include purchasing materials based on technical specifications, pricing, delivery schedules, and terms while ensuring that all purchase activities adhere to corporate purchasing policies and procedures.This role is specifically focused on contributing to the Motion business for the System Drives division in Nelamangala, Bangalore. Your main accountabilities will involve supporting the development and implementation of regional/global sourcing strategies in alignment with the category leader, negotiating agreements with key suppliers, conducting benchmark studies, and managing local contract amendments and frame agreements.To excel in this role, you should hold a BE in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics engineering and ideally possess 8-10 years of relevant work experience, particularly in Drive panels, Low Voltage, and Medium voltage.
