Role Summary

The Process Engineering & Integration Manager is responsible for leading process engineering initiatives and driving integration projects across the region, related to water and wastewater applications. This role ensures that engineering processes, tools, and practices are standardized, optimized, and aligned across locations and functions. The manager will serve as a key facilitator in integrating new processes, technologies, and acquired businesses into the organization while ensuring compliance, efficiency, strategic growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Engineering
  • Lead process design, standardization, and optimization across engineering and operations.
  • Review existing process engineering capabilities with the objective of developing and maintaining best practices, tools, templates, procedures, and process documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Lead the collaboration amongst various engineering disciplines in mechanical, electrical, automation/controls to improve existing processes and support new processes application initiatives.
  • Monitor & optimize process performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Layout options for a future global Process Engineering team that may include the management and use of offshore engineering, and/or set up between multiple Engineering offices for technical process solutions.
  • Provide guidance on complex process engineering challenges and ensure resolution to minimize downtime at site.
  • Integration Management
  • Manage engineering-related integration activities for transformation initiatives and M&A projects.
  • Align engineering processes, tools, and systems across locations, ensuring seamless integration into divisional standards.
  • Act as a key liaison between technical teams during integration projects.
  • Identify engineering gaps and support the harmonization of practices (e.g., mathematical templates, data structures, regulatory, etc).
  • Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with engineering managers, project managers, and regional leaders to drive alignment and adoption of processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineering teams on process excellence and integration.
  • Report progress, risks, skill gaps and results of integration and process improvement projects to divisional leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Master's degree in chemistry or industrial environmental engineering.
  • 8–10 years of experience in water treatment process engineering & solutions, and collaboration with other business functions (operations, sales, supply chain, etc.)
  • Proven ability and experience in developing engineering mathematical templates used to calculate and optimize water or wastewater treatment process flows.
  • Hands-on involvement in building engineering teams and solution capabilities or integration projects (systems, processes, or M&A-related) is a must.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in managing engineering teams that can provide industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment solutions.
  • Fluency in English and other languages are a plus.

Job Summary
In this role, you will lead a part of the process engineering team to develop and optimize processes that enhance efficiency and product quality. You will manage engineering projects, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and oversee process improvement initiatives using Lean Sigma methodologies.
Leading and guiding a team of 3-5 process engineers.

We are presently seeking a Assembly Process Engineering Manager that responsible responsible for guiding the technical team, including Assembly Process Engineering and Test Engineering, to develop repeatable production processes and enable operations to deliver products that meet the organization's Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement in laser/fiber assembly processes.
  • Oversee task planning, prioritize critical activities, and ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.
  • Conduct periodic performance appraisals for engineers and recommend areas for improvement or skill upgrades where applicable.
  • Secure necessary resources for team success, including researching and proposing capital investments.

  • Collaborate with the NPI team to assess technical requirements for new NPI/Product Transfer projects, ensuring alignment with in-house capabilities, and recommend technology or skill-set enhancements for execution readiness.
  • Review technical data packs for new product variants and assess in-house manufacturing feasibility.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of specific technologies, acting as a subject matter expert to address internal customer inquiries and issues.
  • Manage and approve technical engineering changes to BOMs, process plans, and routings.
  • Work with Design Engineering to develop new processes or improve existing ones for assembly builds, aiming for sustainable manufacturing yields in production.
  • Optimize and qualify existing tooling and fixtures to improve productivity and yield.
  • Drive a systematic approach to troubleshooting technical issues in daily production activities.
  • Provide technical recommendations and conduct evaluations in response to customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate activities with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure production build plans are on track to meet OTD (On-Time Delivery) schedules.
  • Lead investigations into RMA products to determine root causes of failures or non-conformances, monitor corrective actions, and ensure process documentation, control plans, and work instructions are updated based on findings.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Physics, Optics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-volume manufacturing (HVM) or process engineering.
