You'll be responsible for building, repairing, and testing various types of equipment--including electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines and machining equipment to manufacture precision aerospace components according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
+ Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, process sheets, and work instructions to determine machining methods, tooling requirements, and dimensional tolerances.
+ Perform machine setup, tool changes, offset adjustments, and routine machine maintenance to ensure efficient and accurate production.
+ Monitor machining operations and make necessary process adjustments to maintain product quality, dimensional accuracy, and cycle time targets.
+ Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators.
+ Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues, and work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to drive timely resolution.
+ Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies at all times.
+ Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards to support a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, setup reduction, and waste elimination.
+ Accurately complete production records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
**Key Experience & Capabilities:**
+ NITEC/Higher NITEC, technical certification, or equivalent qualification in Precision Engineering, Machining Technology, or related field.
+ Proven hands-on experience operating CNC machines, including:
+ CNC Turning
+ CNC Milling
+ Knowledge of G-code programming and CNC machine setup.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.
+ Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to machining and tooling issues.
+ Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or other high-precision industries is preferred.
+ Good coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
+ Good communication skills and positive work attitude.
+ Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
