Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to perform duties related to Material Receiving, Receiving Inspection, and Shipping Inspection in accordance with IFE requirements. Additional responsibilities include becoming an authorized delegate for IFE customers or Regulatory agencies when requested, supporting the IFE related warehouse activities at the facilities they are authorized to work from which would involve, processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by a team leader.

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual / mechanical inspection of materials in accordance with the design drawings and process them in accordance with procedures.
• Inspect LRUs, parts, components, cable, harnesses, sheet metal, assemblies, subassemblies, plastic parts, mechanical, electromechanical parts, raw materials and shelf life items
• Review documentation from shipping companies, Suppliers, customers.
• Comply with the Thales Quality Management System process documents and forms as well as comply with management directions.
• Act as an authorized delegate for IFE, IFE customers, Regulatory agencies when requested.
• Reconciliation of Material Handling transactions
• Maintain historical shipment data trafficking of freight movements, ensuring adherence with transit time commitments and POD's
• Assist to fulfill material requirements for warehouse activities
• Creation of export documentation in accordance and compliance with US and local regulations
• Development of continuous process improvement plans and initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of using measuring equipment (Height gauge, Vernier caliper, Smartscope)
• Understand how to read design drawings (size tolerance or geometric tolerance
• Basic knowledge of SAP transactions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Willing to support overtime occasionally on evenings and/or weekends

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Production QC role

• To execute quality control in pre-production, in-process and post-production checks for each batch produced as per MPT (master production ticket).
• Highlight and report any quality issues and non-conformance to production manager and QA team.
• To ensure line clearance during batch changeover.
• To ensure temperature and humidity conditions are within the specified limits at all times
• To check equipment used in production are calibrated.

Warehouse QC role

Administrative role

Duties & Responsibilities

• To follow the policy of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 internal quality audit and validate quality management system
• Carry out effective and reliable inspection of incoming, work-in-progress, and finished parts/ components

• Perform dimensional/functional inspection of First Article (FA), Incoming, In-process or Outgoing parts in accordance to Work Instructions to ensure that components and products conform to specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background: Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Quality, or related disciplines preferred.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in quality inspection roles within the manufacturing industry; prior IQC or OQC experience is preferred.
• Professional Skills: Solid foundation in mechanical drawing interpretation; familiar with common processes and inspection requirements for structural and electronic components; able to read and interpret basic engineering drawings; proficient in using calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, and other common measuring instruments.
• Competencies:
