Job Responsibilities:
- Perform dimensional/functional inspection of First Article (FA), Incoming, In-process or Outgoing parts in accordance to Work Instructions to ensure that components and products conform to specifications.
- Ensure the compliance of equipment and tools use during inspection in accordance to Calibration and Preventive Maintenance requirements.
- Maintain the control of the manufacturing environment and perform gowning as necessary.
- Perform recording of inspection data, monitoring data and other data in accordance to Records Control requirements.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Work experience as a quality inspector.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School/"O" Level, Higher secondary/Pre(1)U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, any field.
- At least 2 years of work experience as inspector in a machine shop.
- Proficient in regular measurement instruments. Capable of operating CMM is an advantage.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Good interpersonal skills; organized; self discipline.

Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to perform duties related to Material Receiving, Receiving Inspection, and Shipping Inspection in accordance with IFE requirements. Additional responsibilities include becoming an authorized delegate for IFE customers or Regulatory agencies when requested, supporting the IFE related warehouse activities at the facilities they are authorized to work from which would involve, processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by a team leader.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual / mechanical inspection of materials in accordance with the design drawings and process them in accordance with procedures.
- Inspect LRUs, parts, components, cable, harnesses, sheet metal, assemblies, subassemblies, plastic parts, mechanical, electromechanical parts, raw materials and shelf life items
- Review documentation from shipping companies, Suppliers, customers.
- Comply with the Thales Quality Management System process documents and forms as well as comply with management directions.
- Act as an authorized delegate for IFE, IFE customers, Regulatory agencies when requested.
- Reconciliation of Material Handling transactions
- Maintain historical shipment data trafficking of freight movements, ensuring adherence with transit time commitments and POD's
