An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join a leading global financial institution as VP, Credit Management, Fund Finance in Singapore. You will be at the forefront of fund finance activities, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure robust credit risk management and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Do
Conduct thorough credit assessments on new transactions and existing exposures, collaborating with cross‐functional teams to structure deals that meet client objectives and internal risk appetite.
Stay abreast of industry developments impacting fund finance markets while ensuring all activities adhere strictly to regulatory guidelines.
Communicate complex concepts clearly when presenting recommendations or engaging with clients.
Mentor colleagues and participate in policy development initiatives to enhance the credit function’s capabilities.
Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and rating agencies during reviews or examinations related to fund finance activities.
What You Bring
Relevant academic qualifications (degree in finance, accounting, or economics) combined with professional certifications (e.g., CFA).
Extensive experience in credit risk management within fund finance or related sectors such as leveraged finance or structured lending.
Deep understanding of private equity fund structures, investment strategies, cash flow dynamics, and associated risks.
Proven track record in detailed financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and preparing high‐quality credit proposals for senior approval bodies.
Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory frameworks governing fund finance transactions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement across multiple levels.
Ability to build trusted relationships with clients while balancing commercial objectives against prudent risk management principles.
Experience working collaboratively within multi‐disciplinary teams across front office, legal, compliance, operations.
Familiarity with portfolio monitoring tools and early warning systems identifying emerging risks.
Commitment to supporting junior colleagues through coaching or informal mentoring.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to join our Finance – Credit Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the finance department in maintaining financial health. This role involves Blackline submission, bad debt provision, general accounting tasks, department budget management, free cash flow forecasting, and other essential accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management:
Process and record incoming payments accurately and promptly.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Follow up on overdue invoices and manage collections effectively.
Blackline Submission:
Prepare and submit monthly Blackline reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Address and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliation processes.
Bad Debt Provision:
Assess and calculate bad debt provision in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
Collaborate with the credit control team to evaluate and write off uncollectible accounts when necessary.
General Accounting:
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as required.
Department Budget Management:
Preparation and monitoring of the department’s (Singapore & Sudong) budget.
Analyze variances and provide explanations to management.
Free Cash Flow Forecasting:
Prepare regular cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making processes.
Monitor and report on cash inflows and outflows, ensuring adequate liquidity.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes and enhance efficiency.
Implement best practices to optimize cash collection and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).
Compliance and Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting roles.
Proficiency in Blackline and (specify accounting software, e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification.
Experience in budget management and cash flow forecasting.
