Cost Analysis & Reporting
Analyze and validate fabric cost breakdowns from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal benchmarks.
Develop and maintain cost models for various fabric types, incorporating raw material, processing, finishing, and logistics components.
Track and report cost trends, market fluctuations, and currency impacts affecting fabric pricing.
Prepare detailed cost comparison reports to support sourcing decisions and seasonal planning.
Strategic Support & Negotiation
Partner with the Director of Material Sourcing to support seasonal cost negotiations with Tier 2 suppliers.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through material consolidation, supplier leverage, and process optimization.
Provide cost insights to design, development, and sourcing teams to guide material selection and development.
Data Management & Process Optimization
Maintain a centralized database of fabric cost data, supplier quotes, and historical pricing.
Support the digitization of costing workflows and integration with PLM systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with materials development, product costing, and sourcing teams to ensure alignment on cost targets and strategies.
Support on driving alignment with brand and cross function teams on GTM process to ensure the operational efficiency.
