Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, support, and continuous improvement of core network systems and infrastructure services.
- Lead the architecture, configuration, and management of network components including routers, gateways, L2/L3 switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, global load balancers, and web application firewalls (WAF).
- Administer and optimize BGP routing and ISP peering to maintain high availability and network performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, identify network bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve stability and scalability.
- Manage and enhance the use of network management tools; drive the adoption of efficient and resilient network architectures.
- Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for data center operations.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and cross-functional departments to ensure network strategies align with business objectives.
- Ensure adherence to security standards, policies, and best practices to safeguard network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems and enterprise-level network administration.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, high-availability data center environments.
- Hands-on experience with network security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access control systems.
- Strong understanding of IP networking protocols and technologies such as BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, and cloud-based networking solutions.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) is a plus.
