In this role, you will plan and design Google's production global network. You will execute and build upon the goal of an optical, edge, core and campus network infrastructure. You will also ensure that the network is designed and built on-time while meeting reliability and policy requirements. You will help with developing network planning and design standard procedures, processes and tooling. You will work with software teams to contribute to the software automation road-maps to improve the quality and reduce the cycle time for network planning and design.

- Review and understand Google's Network Architecture Standards. Produce plans and designs to meet all network infrastructure and capacity plans for Google’s global production network.
- Design solutions and create project plans that identify resource needs. Communicate with internal business partners to collect drivers and timelines.
- Incorporate New Product Introduction (NPI) solutions into plans and designs. Ensure plan and design tool-sets and business processes are ready for taking NPIs.
- Contribute to the automation road-map of team tasks, reducing cycle time and improving quality and consistency.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining practices and policies in network designs and plans, and establishing business practices that improve performance, reliability, and reduce risk.
