- This position is for Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE).
- Reports to the Assistant Director and assists on pedagogy matters and technical expertise to support instructors who are converting their courses to blended learning format.

- Manage vendors to ensure rigor and standard of elearning materials (technical and pedagogical).
- Evaluate e-learning materials and analyse students' feedback to improve learning and/or develop additional materials.
- Collaborate with in-house and external learning designers and developers as an integral part of the build process.
- Support the implementation plans of the BL 2.0 initiative to transform SMU's pedagogical model, with a strong focus on collaborating with industry partners and CCX to incorporate real-world cases. This aims to strengthen the bridge between theory and practice through the integration of industry insights to enhance learning outcomes.
- Work closely with the CTE team on TEL projects by providing pedagogical input for the design and development of various media, such as AI-based and mobile learning applications, videos, animations, games, simulations, and other instructional technologies to support BL activities. This includes mounting content on the eLearn Learning Management System (LMS) and demonstrating strong familiarity with its features and tools.
- Plan and conduct faculty development workshops on curriculum design, development, and delivery of BL and its corresponding tools to faculty and staff in SMU.

Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Learning Design, or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years' experience in designing and developing online and blended learning solutions. These solutions may include a variety of instructional media, such as face-to-face, synchronous and asynchronous online learning technologies, self-paced online learning, multimedia, etc.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the implementation and management of online, blended learning (preferably in undergraduate and postgraduate courses or programmes of an Institute of Higher Learning) and MOOCs will be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge and experience in applying contemporary and emerging principles of learning/instructional design to online and in-person learning, e.g. TPACK, Community of Inquiry, SAMR etc.
- Proficient in using relevant e-authoring tools and graphic design tools, such as (but not limited to) Articulate 360, H5P, Canva, Photoshop etc.
- Proficient in videography and video-editing.
- Curiosity and keen interest in the future of e-learning trends, Generative AI and evolving tools is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of online learning tools and media.
- Experience in videography and video-editing would be advantageous.
- Possesses good project management, resource management and people management skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
