Role Summary
- As a Machine Learning Engineer, your responsibilities include working with language data and creating, categorizing, auditing and improving lexical data.
- To do this job successfully, you need solid programming skills and language fluency in Indonesian .
- You will be part of an onsite team with diverse skills and backgrounds, who will help brainstorm and find innovative solutions to complex issues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with language data and create, categorize, audit, and improve lexical data
- Develop natural language processing code specific to Indonesian language
- Provide input and suggestions in finding new approaches and new product features tailored to home market
- Find innovative solutions to complex issues
- Automate and integrate workflows from diverse systems
- Daily interactions with other teams working towards the same goal
Job Requirements
- 1+ years engineering experience in diverse technical areas
- Proficiency in Indonesian language is required since you will work with Indonesian content (read and process documents, analyze and label data in Indonesian language)
- iOS or Mac OS X development skills
- Data processing knowledge
- Familiar with Python and Shell
- Experience with one or more version control systems with a preference for Git
- Familiar with regular expression
- Basic team collaboration skills (email, messaging, calendar, etc.)
Education:
- B.S/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, or related sub-fields is a plus
This is full-time onsite position.
