We are seeking a skilled Food Production Technician to play a key role in our production team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating meal packaging lines efficiently, troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance and repairs on kitchen and packaging equipment, ensuring all equipment operates safely and complies with safety standards, and carrying out other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate meal packaging lines efficiently.
- Troubleshoot issues on the packing line and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on kitchen and packaging equipment.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and complies with safety standards.
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in food production or assembly line operations.
- Strong understanding of food processing and packaging equipment and procedures.
- Practical skills in mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems.
- Willing and able to work on rotating shifts.
- Comfortable working in a central kitchen environment.
- Possessing a valid Food Hygiene certification is an advantage.
