Maintain, service, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and clean Carrier owned HVAC equipment and related products in the workshop and various sites throughout Singapore and across Asia when required. This includes air-cooled and water-cooled systems from 10 RT to 600 RT; various sizes of air conditioners, pumps, air handlers, spot coolers.

• Perform troubleshooting and give recommendations for repairs for chiller and ACMV
• Perform recommended repairs for Screw / Centrifugal chiller and ACMV under service agreement/warranty
• Liaise with customer technicians on maintenance/repair schedule
• Work closely with subcontractors to perform maintenance works and repair works
• Perform 24/7 standby duty (rostered) for Screw / Centrifugal complaint and breakdown
• Ensure safety procedures and conduct during service or repairs
• Perform monthly routine service for Screw / Centrifugal chiller under service agreement whenever assigned by supervisor

• Nitec, Diploma or Equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3 Years of Commercial HVAC experience
• HVAC technical certification or HVAC associate degree preferred
• Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, repair and cleaning HVAC equipment and related products
• Refrigerant Handling license an advantage – if not, the ability to obtain TP Certificate within 60 days of hire provided by the company
• SIC for Construction, Shipyard, Process Plant an advantage
• Training or experience in EHS & Risk Assessment an advantage
• Possess a valid class 3 driver’s license

• Perform equipment inspections to identify potential problems and safety concerns
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and failure analysis on all components and systems of the equipment.
• Isolates equipment malfunctions.

Job Requirements

• Min ITE graduates in Automotive Engineering
• Min 2 years of relevant experience

• Basic Salary: $2,000 to $2,500 + OT
• 5 days - 8.30am to 5.30pm / 5.5 days - Sat 8.30am - 1230am

• Carry out schedule and retrofits automatic door parts; mechanical, electrical and electronic
• Troubleshoot and conduct site check on the automatic entrance and propose parts recommendations for user consideration
