Job Title: Chemical Process Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering or environmental science and will be responsible for conducting Safety Data Sheet (SDS) analysis, performing sampling at the warehouse, and executing laboratory tests to ensure product quality and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Organize and plan company requirements related to chemical and environmental science research.
  2. Implement environmental, health, and safety regulations within the organization.
  3. Manage wastewater treatment processes.
  4. Monitor and manage COD, VOC, pH, TDS levels.
  5. Control and monitor laboratory analysis, sampling, and testing procedures to determine the efficacy of treatment plant operation. Report waste disposal e-tracking submissions to relevant authorities.
  6. Analyze SDS and document cleaning procedures.
  7. Oversee wastewater treatment processes.
  8. Manage and control processes in cleaning, disposal, and waste treatment of the cleaning plant.
  9. Train and supervise new staff on handling chemicals, water recycling, waste disposal, and managing all processes related issues with care.

Requirements:

  • A good degree/diploma from recognized tertiary institutions in Chemical Engineering or Environmental and Water Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
