A full stack software engineer is needed, with technical skills to work on both the front-end and back-end (the server-side logic, databases, and APIs) of a digital twin water quality prediction platform. The applicant should have a broad range of expertise in different programming languages, frameworks, and databases, allowing him/her to handle the entire software development process, from design and development to testing and deployment. In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing cutting-edge quantum RF sensing technologies, working on task such as simulations on thermal and EMI/EMC of cryocooling systems and experimental characterization of quantum superconducting electronic chips. As part of our dynamic R&T team, you will actively contribute to research projects from conceptualization to prototype development, collaborating with interdisciplinary experts to achieve transformative technological breakthroughs with practical applications in defense, communications, and precision measurement. Responsibilities:
- Perform thermal simulations of cryocooling systems to analyze heat transfer and system performance.
- Conduct EMI/EMC simulations to assess electromagnetic compatibility of cryogenic hardware.
- Analyze simulation and experimental data to support hardware design improvements.
- Hands-on design, build and test of hardware prototypes to validate their performance and functionality.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams, to advance R&D goals.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, industrial partners, and government agencies to transition research into practical applications.
- Plan and manage R&D projects, including defining objectives, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Familiarity with simulation tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of transitioning technologies from low TRL research to high TRL prototypes.

• Engineering design, Heat & Mass balances, equipment selection and sizing calculations and flowsheet development (PFD, P&IDs) for scale up systems.
• Support testing and optimization of small scale and pilot scale systems, including troubleshooting of process.
• Document all process development, testing, and optimization efforts, and contribute to technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications
