About the Job:

• We are seeking a skilled Process Design Specialist to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing process schemes, flow diagrams, and FEEDs.
• Familiarity with material and heat balance calculations is essential.
• You will also be involved in Hazop studies and P&ID development.
• A key responsibility will be to prepare material selection diagrams and establish requirements for chemicals, solvents, and catalysts.
• Additional duties include relief valve sizing, control valve sizing, and popping philosophy development.
• As a Process Design Specialist, you will work closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless design development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in process system design for oil and gas, chemicals storage, and process environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant codes of practice such as API, NFPA, SS532, and SS634 is necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, and process design documents for offshore systems
• Conduct process simulations and sizing calculations for equipment and lines
• Ensure safety, reliability, and optimization of process systems
• Coordinate with HSE, mechanical, and instrumentation teams during design phase
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design reviews

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in process design for offshore or marine projects
• Proficiency in software such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar
• Prior experience with big EPC companies is preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment process design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or in cross-functional teams.
