We are looking for an experienced Materials Science Content Analyst to help us improve various business outcomes and drive innovation. You will join a multidisciplinary team helping to shape our Product development. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of emerging trends and technologies to a real-world difference.
Responsibilities- Drive the development and improvement of the materials intelligence cloud platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams and focusing on user needs and scalability.
- Identify, integrate, and curate diverse materials science data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility. Implement data quality control measures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant standards and ontologies in materials science and chemistry.
- Apply and adapt AI, ML, and LLM techniques to analyze and interpret materials science data, extracting insights, predicting properties, and accelerating discovery.
- Leverage patent data, cheminformatics and matinformatics principles to identify trends, opportunities, and enhance data analysis and interpretation.
- Proactively research and explore new data sources, algorithms, and emerging technologies in materials informatics.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Perform advanced data analytics and create visualizations to communicate complex findings effectively.
- Ph.D. or Master's in a relevant field (Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, etc.) with deep experience in computational or data-driven approach for material science innovation.
- Deep understanding of materials science principles, characterization techniques, and applications in diverse material-driven industry domains.
- Proficiency in applying AI/ML/LLM techniques, strong programming skills, and experience with data curation and preprocessing. Familiarity with cloud computing and cheminformatics tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.

 The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is seeking to hire a Research Fellow. The selected candidate will characterize and analysis the thin composite materials and thin film coatings. 
 Key Responsibilities 
 Support the development and optimization of plasma-based PVD and CVD processes for advanced material applications. 
 Operate and maintain semiconductor analysis and metrology tools to evaluate thin film and device properties. 
 Lead and execute independent investigations, ensuring accurate interpretation of experimental data and effective communication of key findings. 
 Plan, implement, and refine experimental methodologies to validate hypotheses and explore novel material behaviors. 
 Leverage data analytics platforms, coding skills, and simulation environments to enhance process understanding and improve outcomes. 
 Contribute to scaling R&D concepts into practical engineering solutions, bridging the gap between research and application. 
 Compile and present detailed technical documentation and progress reports to fulfill the requirements of funding bodies and internal project milestones. 
 Job Requirements 
 Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field. 
 At least 2 years of combined specialized post-doctoral experience in industry or a recognized research institute. 
 Extensive research experience in the characterization of thin film coatings, with a strong emphasis on semiconductor or relevant characterization techniques.

 Lead the design, optimization, and scale-up of PVD and CVD plasma-based processes, with an emphasis on high-performance composite coatings e.g. oxide and nitride. 
 Drive the comprehensive characterization of thin films using advanced techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, Raman, AFM, nanoindentation), enabling deep understanding of structure-property relationships. 
 Spearhead independent, hypothesis-driven experimental research, and interpret complex datasets to extract actionable insights for process refinement and material enhancement. 
 Apply advanced data analysis methods, simulation tools, and scientific programming to support process modeling and predictive materials design.
