Overview
The Quality Manager is the strategic leader of GVig's quality function. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all products consistently meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role acts as the central pillar of quality, driving a quality-focused culture across the organization, from raw material sourcing to finished product distribution.
 
Key Responsibilities
· Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 22716).
· Documentation: Author, review, and approve all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to production, quality control, and sanitation. Oversee all quality-related documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), specifications, and certificates of analysis.
· Supplier Quality: Establish a supplier qualification program, including auditing raw material and packaging suppliers to ensure they meet GVig's quality standards.
· Compliance & Audits: Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies and lead all external audits. Conduct regular internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Leadership & Strategy: Lead the Quality Control (QC) and Microbiology functions, setting departmental goals and providing mentorship. Report on quality performance to senior leadership/management.
· Investigating Non-Conformance: Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system and oversee investigations into any non-conforming products or deviations.
 
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related science.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Control and Quality Assurance role within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industry.
· In-depth, expert knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential.
· Experience in developing a QMS from the ground up is highly desirable.
· Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills and effective problem solving skills

 Perform checks on the structural, architectural and M&E materials/works to ensure that the final touch-up works are ready for inspections
