Main Responsibilities:

·  Undertake routine tasks for systems in their own area of specialization (process, plant and/or C&Q activities)

·Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex system issues, minimizing downtime. Decide on advanced troubleshooting methods and issue resolution strategies. Communicate issues and resolutions to management, peers and engineering team

·Provide support to Manufacturing, Engineering and Capital Projects as required

·  Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality

·  Identify improvement opportunities for critical systems, advise on process improvement initiatives

·Participate and provide advice in deviation and root cause investigations

·Advise on system lifecycle changes, including upgrades, decommissioning, and revalidation requirements.

·Provide project feasibility evaluation and technical front-end studies input to support decision making process with site leadership team and central function

· Lead and support project sourcing and 3rd party contractor & supplier management to support capital project delivery.

·  Manage project execution work packages, inclusive of contract management

· Support T1 & T2 (Global Engineering) project integration to site routine, inclusive of technical/project support post qualification and handover to site.

·Participate in applicable COPs

·Adherence to all mandatory Sanofi and local & regulatory compliance standards and policies including construction safety GMRs, Planet Care standards, GMP, and FDA regulations/standards.

About You

Education

·  Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Pharmaceutical / Industrial & Systems)

·  Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Project Management and Execution in biopharmaceuticals or API manufacturing

· Good knowledge in process engineering, automation and instrumentation

·  Experience in frontend feasibility studies, project execution

·  PMP certification will be an advantage

·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues. 

·  Strong stakeholder & people management skills; ability to efficiently work and deliver high performance in cross-functional matrix organization

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead and establish a group of engineers to establish pilot production line and associated operations, tools, MES system from scratch.
  • Establish pilot production line key performance Indices and report out status on a periodic basis to key stakeholders.

Production Planning and Scheduling

Developing production plans and schedules to optimize fab utilization and meet customer demand. This involves analyzing capacity, prioritizing orders, coordinating with supply chain teams, and ensuring efficient production flow.

Quality Assurance and Control

Implementing quality management systems and procedures to ensure consistent and reliable manufacturing. This includes establishing quality control measures, conducting inspections and audits, and implementing corrective actions to address any quality issues.

Validation Engineer

Overview:

Under general supervision, reviews specifications and determines the critical aspects of facilities, utilities, computer systems and manufacturing equipment with regard to product and process quality, writes qualification protocols for operating systems and records related test results, prepares final reports that identify the results of protocol testing and the conditions of release.

Essential Job Functions:

Process Engineer

  1. Coordinates all work related to Process Engineering deliverables on scheduled projects needed to meet the deadlines developed by Plant Capital Plan, New Product Introductions, and New Process Technology Developments.
  2. Responsible for manufacturing engineering support, the development of new process technologies, and the support of new product introductions/tech transfers.
  3. Organizes testing associated with the development of new process technologies and the support of new product introductions/tech transfers and works closely with the overall Tech Transfer team.
  4. Works closely with technical services to develop and confirm Critical and Key Process Parameters needed for Equipment and Process Validation. Develops and delivers presentations to communicate project timelines and milestone completions.
  5. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for equipment and processes within area of responsibility and thereby serves as the SME for investigations, design reviews, equipment/process troubleshooting, Capital Project planning, change control and other related activities for the site.
  6. Able to work well in cross functional teams, demonstrating good communication and presentation skills, strong technical understanding, general automation knowledge, multi-tasking and time management.

Job skills & knowledge:

  1. Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
  2. Pharmaceutical principles, practices, and applications.
  3. Principles of mathematical and statistical computations.
  4. Interpreting software and ladder logic diagrams and flowcharts.
  5. Interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications including HVAC systems and construction plans.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Development and Execution of Growth Strategies: Lead the development, refinement, and execution of global growth strategies for our contract manufacturing services. Deliver a deep understanding of current market trends, client needs, and competitors. Based on this analysis, develop unique selling propositions and action plans to accelerate growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and nurture key customer relationships globally. Act as the point of contact for our key customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and negotiating strategic contracts.
  • Business Development: Implement new business initiatives across the new and existing markets. Reach out to prospects, build relationships, and close deals to drive growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop overarching strategies to identify and forge strategic alliances, partnerships, joint ventures, and other opportunities that can boost the company’s growth trajectory on a global scale.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and engineering, from conceptualisation through to product lifecycles. Ensure business decisions align with the company's direction and its strategic imperatives.
  • Team Development: Represent the company professionally and ethically at all times, serve as a role model for senior company leaders, and mentor future leaders.
Job Requirements
  • At least 15 years of experience in senior management roles, preferably with global responsibilities in contract manufacturing industries.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to convert customer needs into successful business deals.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Experience in contract negotiations with key clients and forming strategic partnerships.
  • Strong global business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
  • Engaging and persuasive communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or a similar field (Master's preferred).

Opportunity for a technical candidate with hands-on experience in laser technology products to join as a Process Engineer to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing flows and methods.

Role:

  • Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence, processes and systems in the manufacture of sub-assemblies, precision cleaning and final assemblies of laser system.
  • Set up and maintain bill of materials, process flow and routing, process layout to ensure smooth physical, materials, documentation and system flow throughout the operations.
  • Drives continuous improvement in quality, productivity, cycle time, inventory management and cost
  • Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
  • Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in Oracle System is an advantage

Experience

  • Bachelor in engineering with 2 to 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering process focus.
  • Proficient in Lean thinking and application will be an advantage

This siteproduces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense, and aerospace, as well as research and development.

We are presently seeking a Senior Process Engineer that will support the Commercial Business team in resolving technical queries from customers and coordinating activities with various stakeholders across cross-functional departments within the organization. The role ensures that operations are carried out effectively to meet the final deliverables of the build plan.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct product qualification and ensure intended specifications are achieved.
  • Develop new or improve existing processes and documentation for assembly builds to achieve sustainable production yields.
  • Design and qualify tooling/fixtures necessary to support product builds.
  • Introduce new technology capabilities to enable the manufacturing of new NPI assemblies.
  • Provide technical support to the Sales & Marketing team for customer inquiries.
  • Review technical data packs for NPI products or new product variants for RFQ purposes and in-house manufacturing feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical recommendations or conduct evaluations in response to customer inquiries.
  • Introduce value-added services such as product design improvement recommendations or troubleshooting support at higher-level system integration at the customer’s site.
  • Plan and support key activities related to build plan completion and product qualification.
  • Support the Planning Team in developing realistic build schedules for NPI product assemblies.
  • Coordinate work activities with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the build plan remains on track.
  • Review and translate customers' product quality specifications into internal manufacturing requirements to ensure product quality performance.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis of product failures/returns and recommend practical solutions.
  • Develop the Assembly Process Sheet (APS) with work instructions for production teams to carry out assembly builds.
  • Provide accurate routing details in accordance with the APS.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical processes used in assembly production.
  • Review and enhance existing process methodologies to improve manufacturing KPIs such as process yield, scrap rates, and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical & Electronics.
  • Diploma holders with an extensive portfolio of achievements will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in NPI or process engineering-related fields.
  • Prior experience in the semiconductor equipment or optics industry will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Skilled in drawing software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Familiar with engineering tools: 8D, Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, CPK Analysis, and Gauge R&R analysis.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom protocols.
  • Self-initiative and innovative in deriving solutions.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in resolving technical issues.
