The IT Manager is accountable for the effective management, optimization, and modernization of dnata Singapore’s IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures our technology backbone is secure, reliable, and capable of supporting both daily operations and long-term business goals.
The successful candidate will lead systems and infrastructure initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments, support seamless integration with critical business systems, and drive modernization efforts that improve efficiency and service quality. Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the management and transformation of Azure cloud systems and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with dnata’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee administration of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams), Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune (MDM/MAM), ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable service delivery.
• Plan and implement system upgrades, integrations, and modernization initiatives, with a strong focus on automation, cost-effectiveness, and improved performance.
• Deploy and manage secure communication and mobility solutions essential for operational teams, ensuring these systems are reliable, efficient, and well-integrated.
• Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with infrastructure components, supporting critical operational functions such as Ground Operations, Cargo, Catering, HR, Finance, and Safety.
• Manage IT systems and infrastructure projects, balancing scope, schedule, resources, and costs to deliver on time and in line with business requirements.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and monitoring service delivery to meet SLAs.

Requirements & Skills

- 10–12+ years’ experience managing Azure cloud and on-premises environments, including networking, security, monitoring, virtualization, backups, and disaster recovery.

- Oversee and manage the Information Technology department, ensuring the effective execution of all IT-related functions and operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a well-structured IT organization, including defining team roles, job descriptions, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensure that IT applications, systems, and infrastructure are fully aligned with the organization's business objectives and strategic goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance for IT projects, ensuring they are planned, executed, and delivered on time, within budget, and meet all required functionalities and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that IT solutions support and enhance overall business performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the organization's IT strategy and operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards in all IT activities and initiatives.
- Manage and optimize the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality IT services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient IT services and support.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree (Business IT, Information Systems Management or other similar disciplines is an advantage)
- 8-10 years of relevant IT experience either in application and/or infrastructure including managerial role experience
- Experience with public cloud is a strong advantage
