Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Information Technology Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the hotel's technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration of IT systems to support daily operations and strategic initiatives from the senior management team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and organizing all Business Applications, Databases and Messaging System of the property in accordance to the established procedures issued by the Management and the industries best practice processes.

• Prepare the hotels’ IT annual budgets and submit to corporate office for approval.

• Develop and spearhead the hotels’ IT infrastructure and support the extensive operation systems and network.

• Conduct performance review of team member and provide honest feedback on their respective performance, the aim being to guide and improve where there is a shortfall in performance and reinforces the performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of IT experience, preferably hospitality industry.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Studies.

• Proficiency in Windows Operating System, and Hotel Related Business Applications (e.g. Opera, Opera Cloud, Infrasys etc)

• Good knowledge of multi property emails, websites, DNS and CISCO networks.

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

• Standardize IT policies and SOPs across all hotels in alignment with Park Hotel Group’s brand guidelines.

2) Cybersecurity & Data Protection

• Monitor and mitigate security threats, including firewalls, antivirus and system patching.

3) System Administration & Support

• Lead IT aspects of new hotel pre-openings, renovations, and brand technology rollouts.
• Oversee cloud and on-premise storage solutions, including backups and disaster recovery plans

4) Strategic IT Planning

• Align IT strategies with business goals, working closely with leadership and department heads
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest experience through technology
• Prepare and manage the annual IT Budget
• Manage IT service providers, software vendors and hardware suppliers
• Lead implementation and upgrades of new systems and applications
• Negotiate service contracts and evaluate vendor performance

6) Property technology Oversight

• Oversee integration and performance of in-room technology, smart systems, IPTV and key card systems
• Support user training, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. Diploma or specialist certifications can also be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a multi-property or regional role.
• Strong hands-on experience with hospitality systems such as Opera PMS/Cloud, Shiji PMS/POS, and guest-facing technology such as WiFi networks, IPTV systems, Data protection and privacy controls.
