Responsibilities
1) Vendor Relationship & Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships through regular meetings and vendor visits.
- Stay updated on vendor roadmaps, demos, and new solutions.
2) Market Research & Vendor Sourcing
- Identify new vendors through events, referrals, and industry research.
- Propose solutions during tenders for presales evaluation.
3) Issue Resolution
- Mediate disputes between vendors and stakeholders.
- Facilitate tri-party meetings, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
- Escalate or terminate relationships if unresolved.
4) Vendor Performance & Compliance
- Monitor vendor quality, compliance, risk, and cost.
- Provide feedback and drive corrective actions where necessary.
5) Tender Support (Multi-Phase Role)
- Phase 1 – Vendor Identification: Gather requirements with presales and shortlist vendors.
- Phase 2 – Proposal Evaluation: Assess vendor bids on cost, compliance, and quality.
- Phase 3 – Agreement Drafting: Negotiate and finalize teaming agreements for tender submissions.
- Phase 4 – Price Negotiation: Secure competitive pricing and manage bid-related documentation.
- Phase 5 – Proof of Concept: Coordinate vendor POCs and technical validation post-tender.
6) Project Support
- Assist project teams with project management, business analysis, and software testing (UAT, SAT).
Experiences & Skillsets
- Around 3-4 years of experience in stakeholder / vendor sourcing, evaluation & management, with prior experience in supporting bid management.
- Candidates who have experience with managing equipment vendors and in the IT / Security Surveillance industry are strongly preferred.
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or related fields.
