We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive workplace health and safety management system, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- To carry out duties as specified by the WSH Act and ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- To assist in the implementation of the EHS management system and conduct daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
- To function as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of hazardous works and conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
- To identify WSH hazards and implement control measures, prepare monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
- To ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements, maintain and monitor EHS records/checklists, participate and facilitate Internal/External audits, investigate and report WSH incidents & near misses, and conduct WSH and other related training.
- WSQ advanced certificate in WSH with Refresher course.
