Overview
Reporting to the Director of the Membership Department, the Executive Officer will involve in the implementation of the Law Society’s corporate communications and public relations strategies across a wide range of platforms. The successful candidate will be required to engage external stakeholders to ensure that the corporate image of the Law Society is presented consistently and effectively.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support such as scheduling, electronic filing and taking minutes
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and international events.
- Prepare briefing notes and reports for meetings
- Prepare simple budgeting
- Support social media accounts by posting approved content, monitoring engagement, and preparing simple performance updates.
- Perform desk research from time to time
- Diploma or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Law, Journalism or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or public relations
- Proactive, results-driven, creative and highly self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects accurately and meticulously under tight deadlines
- Team player and problem-solver
