We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team as a Content Developer . In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content that engages and informs our audience.
You will work closely with our editorial team to select relevant news stories and features daily for both online and print platforms. You will also help translate news stories from trusted sources and write original content such as features, commentaries, op-eds, and editorials.
In addition to your writing skills, you will need to be digitally savvy and able to use our Content Management System and other related tools. You will review and edit our editorial content for accuracy and ensure that it meets the highest standards of quality.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum degree/diploma holder from a recognized university or polytechnic, with at least 5 years experience in communications, policy writing, or publishing. You will be effectively bilingual in English and Tamil, with a good understanding of trending news relevant to our readers.
You will also be familiar with Tamil translations of official names, terms, and technical words, as well as local and regional matters. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work on weekends/public holidays.
